Let’s build an outfit! These three spring outfits are cute and easy to put together with pieces you probably already have in your closet. I’m walking you through building each of these outfits, step by step.

Let me show you how to put together three spring outfits step by step.

Last fall I did a post about how to accessorize outfits and showed you the step by step process to building an outfit.

If you missed the post, you can find it RIGHT HERE.

You guys asked for more posts like that, so today I’m building three spring outfits from scratch. Ready for this?

A cute blouse and a pair of jeans just needs a few accessories to make it perfect for spring.

Step 1. Start with BLUE JEANS and a solid colored BLOUSE. You could also do a white tee or a collared button up.

Step 2. Keep it simple and chic with a pair of LOAFERS. Simple sneakers or a pair of patterned loafers works too!

Step 3. Add a BANDANA for a pop of color and a little bit of personality. You could also tie it around your ponytail!

Step 4. Finish the outfit with a casual LIGHTWEIGHT JACKET and a cute casual bag. I did an olive jacket one for a bit of neutral color, and a simple camel CROSSBODY BAG.

White jeans and a cardigan makes a perfect spring outfit

Step 1. Start with WHITE JEANS and a STRIPED TEE. Another patterned tee would work too!

Step 2. Add some simple ANKLE BOOTS. Mine have a short block heel, but you could do a higher heel for a dressier look. Also to define your waist, try tucking your shirt in or knotting it like I did.

Step 3. Now add a CARDIGAN SWEATER. I like the look of this duster length cardigan, but you could definitely do a shorter one.

Step 4. Finish the look with a cute SUMMER BAG; I love this ROUND STRAW CROSSBODY.

If you need a dressy spring outfit, this one is perfect

Step 1. Start this outfit with a spring-y MIDI SKIRT and a basic WHITE TEE. Tuck your shirt in so your waist is defined.

Step 2. Add a pair of WEDGES to dress it up. Or if you want to dress it down, try some FLAT SANDALS.

Step 3. To keep yourself a little warmer for spring weather, add a LIGHTWEIGHT JACKET. I chose a SUEDE JACKET, but you could do an OLIVE JACKET or a DENIM JACKET.

Step 4. Now to finish the outfit, add some STATEMENT EARRINGS, pull your hair up, and add a purse. I chose a DRESSY BAG, but if you’re doing flat sandals you could do a casual CROSSBODY BAG instead.

I hope this sparks some ideas in your closet — now go put together some good spring outfits!

Lovely outfits, my favourite is probably the last one, that skirt is gorgeous. These outfits definitely gave me some ideas. Sometimes we have things in our closet that we only style one or two ways and sometimes it takes a bit of inspiration to pair those things differently and get a new and fresh outfit.

Could you wear wide leg jeans in place of the skinny cropped jeans in outfit 1? also, do you have a post on wearing scarves/or tying them? and is it a good idea to wear scarves like this if you are an inverted triangle shape? THanks in advance!
