Ok, check-in time again….how is everyone doing with their pinterest challenges? Honestly the last two weeks have been pretty unproductive for me, so I’m way behind on my projects. Hopefully you are doing better than I am.
But this week I did manage to get the banana pops made in the small window of time before I bought my bananas and they went brown…I tried three different times and failed three different times. I made one little addition to the original recipe because I had chocolate chips in my freezer — and when I have chocolate chips in my freezer, I cannot make a treat without them. It’s the rule.
Here’s what I used:

I froze them for 55 minutes and then we devoured them (we meaning Peanut and me — Philip isn’t a big fan of bananas…or yogurt…or cinnamon. Basically the worst possible treat in his book!) They were creamy, crunchy, flavorful, and just all around delightful. Plus they were a treat without being a heavy dessert. Perfect!

Second, I made Buck some leggings using this tutorial. The tutorial was super straight forward and I love how they turned out. You can see Buck wearing them here (although in these photos they’d stretched out quite a bit after many sweaty hours in a carseat!)

I was planning to make him a few more and then using fabric paint to make patterns on them, but I just didn’t get around to it yet. I’ll get it done before the next follow up post so you can see!

Here are my updates. It's separate posts, so I figured it was easier to post the link with the Pinterest Challenge tag I made.

The first was a great success, the second not so much… but it feels good to finally use some of these pins 🙂

Here is my update (is it weird that the pins I attempted both ended up being pinned from your blog?)

That is a great healthy snack! my boys would unfortunately turn their noses up at the nuts but yoghurt dipped fruit frozen would blow their minds!
