My Team’s Picks from the Nordstrom Anniversay Sale

My team is sharing their favorite finds from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Each one of these girls has different styles, budgets and body-types so I thought it would be helpful to see the variety of their selections!

 

If you haven’t shopped the The Nordstrom Anniversary sale yet, it’s now open to Nordstrom cardholders! If you’re not a cardholder, it’ll be open for anyone to shop on Monday the 15th, so hang tight a little longer.

I wanted my team to share their favorite pieces from the sale. We all have different tastes, budgets, and body types so our favorites are all across the board.

Laura’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Picks 

Laura is 5’11” and typically wears a size medium in tops and dresses and a size 8 in jeans and pants.

• Nike Phoenix Crewneck – This is without a doubt my favorite crewneck!! Don’t even ask how many colors of this set I own. I love the matching sweats too which are also included in the sale.
• Zoe and Claire Knitted Dress – I tried this one with the team in-store on Wednesday and we jokingly called it the “sexy secretary dress”. It is SO cute on and is a stretchy, soft knit. It’s sold out as of when I’m writing it, but you know things will always ebb and flow with stock in the sale!
• Kut From the Kloth Meg Patch Jeans – We all loved these jeans. I typically wear an 8 but actually sized down to a 6 in these. I’m tall with long legs and didn’t even have to get a tall size, they were a perfect ankle length for me. Bonus – they’re super soft and stretchy!

 

Mary’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Picks 

Mary is 5’7″ and typically wears a size small in tops and dresses, and a size 4 in jeans.

• Steve Madden Mary Jane Mule – I have been looking for a pair of red shoes and I absolutely fell in love with this shoe! It is the perfect color of red, it has such a great shape to it, the buckle is such a cute touch, and the mule actually stays on really well.  It comes in several colors, and I’m eyeing the neutral pair as well.
• Joe’s Jeans Tulie Denim Midi Skirt – When I first saw this skirt in the sale preview, I knew I had to try it! I’m loving skirts more and more these days, and the contrasting black denim caught my eye immediately. Now that I’ve tried it on, I can honestly say it’s my favorite piece of clothing I’ve gotten from the sale. I CAN NOT wait to wear it in the fall with a pair of black heeled boots. I usually wear a size 27, and I prefered the fit of the size 28 in these.  It’s definitely more of an investment piece, but I can see myself wearing this to church, out for a date night, out with friends, to the theater, and in an even more casual setting with a pair of sneakers.
• Cole Haan Tan Wool Blend Coat – The one item that I really needed to find from the sale was a nice neutral coat that has a more elevated look that I can wear over dresses and more dressy outfits.  I fell in love with this one! The color is beautiful in person, the quality is amazing, and the fit is perfection.  I went with the size 6 so I can wear it over bulkier items.  I can’t wait for it to get cold so I can start creating outfits with it.

Kristy’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Picks 

Kristy is 5’6″ and typically wears a size large in tops and dresses, and a size 12 in jeans.

• On Cloud Monster Running Shoe– I have been wanting to try the On Cloud brand and when I saw these I knew I had to try them.  I loved the colors! But then when I tried them on they fit amazing! I am not a runner but I loved these shoes to workout in and use with athleisure! I brought them home and my teen boys instantly started complementing them so I felt like that was a WIN!
• Good American Good Waist Palazzo Pant– I have the HARDEST time finding jeans I like.  I also was VERY hesitant to go away from the straight leg.  Six months ago I wouldn’t have even tried these on, but as I have started wearing more straight leg and crop pants, I am loving the look.  These jeans were such a great fit and looked so cute with flats, tennis shoes and even a boot.  Having such a versatile jean is w WIN for me! Sold!
• Chantelle Lingerie Full Bra– If you saw our stories the other day, you know why I am linking this bra.  If you didn’t then listen up (or check out this LTK post to see a before and after)!! This bra is life changing!! I am your typical mom who just wears the same bra for years and literally HATE bra shopping.  So while we were at Nordstrom I embraced the moment and got fitted.  I tried on several bras, realized I was literally wearing a bra three cup sizes too small and the WRONG style! If you have been looking for a smooth bra (ahem, back rolls), something supportive and still pretty and feminine…this bra is for YOU!
