The 2024 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is HERE! This sale is a great time to stock up on closet staples and better than basic pieces.
What makes the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale a big deal
Everyone likes sales, but sales are basically always at the end of a season on the leftover inventory.
The thing that makes the Nordstrom Anniversary sale different is that these items go on sale at the beginning of the season. These are all fall and winter items that you’ll see in store in the fall, but they’re on sale now before the season begins. Once the sale is over, you’ll see the prices go back up.
Also, because this sale is so popular, lots of things sell out quickly. So if you have your eye on something, I’ll share below how to get notified when it come back in stock.

The sale is shoppable based on tiers, so not everyone is eligible to shop at the same time. Here’s the breakdown so you can see when you’re able to shop.

Since things sell out so quickly in this sale, it can be super frustrating to miss what you were eyeing.
Some items will get restocked, or people will return and your size will pop back into stock, so here’s how to get notified without much effort, or grab your favorites before they sell out as soon as you’re eligible to shop.
How to get notifications of an item back in stock
- Create a Nordstrom account right here. It’s free!
- Find your favorites (mine are linked below)
- Choose your size and color
- Add it to your Nordstrom Wishlist (you’ll see button below the “add to bag” button)
- Download the Nordstrom App and sign in.
- Turn on notifications of restock. Then you’ll get a text when your size and color is back in stock!
The easiest way to shop before you’re eligible
- Create a Nordstrom account right here. It’s free!
- Find your favorites (mine are linked below)
- Choose your size and color
- Add it to your Nordstrom Wishlist (you’ll see button below the “add to bag” button)
- Once you’re eligible to shop, go to your account and select Wishlist. You’ll see all your favorites with an “add to bag” button below them. You can select individually or select all and “add to bag.” Then you’re able to expedite your checkout process!

I combed through the entire sale and looked for things that I have already purchased and loved in the past, or new items that are worth checking out. I was really selective and tried to stay away from all the sweaters and most of the jackets, cause it’s JULY. I just cannot bring myself to buy that stuff right now when it’s still so hot.
But there are lots of good jeans, many good shoes, some good dresses, activewear, and many good beauty deals.
