Last Friday my laptop froze, I shut it off, and then it wouldn’t turn back on. After a long trip to the apple store, and a little scare that we wouldn’t be able to recover my files (without paying at least $200 from a specialist, still without a guarantee), we discovered the hard drive was failing. Happily the computer was still under warranty. So after a few days away, I finally got it back yesterday, complete with a new hard drive and all my precious files. This is me breathing a huge sigh of relief.

Um – I wondered at first why you were wearing something so light because it snowed here today. Then I had a memory jog and realized you were in Cali. Happy for you! I'm liking the sweater in particular.
Lovely. Hope you're enjoying the change in climate.
Glad you got tht worked out! Glad to see you back and enjoying the california sun. Although the last few days it's been a little too cold for my liking!
yay for all your precious files! i would have freaked!
Glad everything is safe. And I just love the linkups you guys do, I hope I remember 🙂
that sweater is so cute! your computer ordeal must have been so frustrating. I'm so afraid of that happening. glad your files were saved.
Glad you were able to recover everything! that would have given me a heart attack if I had lost everything on my laptop 🙁
AND HOW DID YOU JUST HAVE A BABY?? seriously.
Yayyyyyy I've missed you! Welcome back, girl!
I have this skirt, and I love it! Though I've never thought of pairing it with a pink sweater. Cute. Glad you got your files back, too! I've had Apple scares myself with my MacBook (which is now more than four years old and dying).
Phew… glad it all worked out for you!

LOVE that scalloped skirt!! So glad the computer was okay, we have 2 external hard drives with viruses that it will be a miracle if we recover our data…so sad.

I actually just refashioned the skirt — I didn't sew the whole thing. But the skirt is just cotton. You can see the before and after on my link in the post!
