Mules are one of my favorite shoes to wear with these kinds of pants because they look sophisticated with a trendy pair of pants (keeping the outfit more age appropriate for me), they show enough of your foot to elongate your leg, and they have an almond toe, which also helps elongate your leg line with wide leg pants (very important so you don’t get a squatty look!)
