I’m not a huge fan of most flats, but then I got this pair of Rothy’s pointed flats and instantly fell in love. Here are four easy ways to wear these flats from casual to dressy!
Why I love Rothy’s pointed flats
When it comes to flats, I really like sneakers and I really like mules or loafers. I struggle with plain flats. So I was honestly dubious about these Rothys pointed flats, but I’d heard amazing things about them for years so I had to give them a go.
Honestly, I’m shocked at how much I love them and how often I pull them out to wear them.
Here are the reasons I’m loving them
- The leopard print is really good. I’m picky about my animal prints and this one is a really nice color and size and shape.
- They’re honestly so comfortable. They feel like little sweaters on my feet.
- They don’t flop off when I walk, like a lot of flats do. They mold right to the back of my foot and stay right in place all day.
- They’re also made out of recycled water bottles which totally blows my mind!!
Sizing for the Rothy’s pointed flats
For this style of Rothy’s shoes (The Point), their site recommended that I size up a half size.
So I sized up and it ended up being perfect for me. They don’t squeeze my toes at all even with the point, but they don’t flop off when I walk either.
I’d definitely recommend sizing up half a size in this style.
I have a discount code for Rothy’s!
I partnered with Rothy’s a few weeks ago on Instagram to share these shoes, and my discount code is still active!
Code MERRICK20 works for $20 off any order over $100.
Here are four ways to wear Rothy’s pointed flats
1. Rothy’s Pointed Flats Outfit: Dress them down with casual jeans
I love a good jeans and jacket outfit, and these flats are definitely able to be dressed down.
Try a tee and jeans, or a simple sweater and jeans. I did wider leg jeans, but skinny jeans work just as well!
And if you need a layer, stick to something casual like a denim jacket, anorak jacket, or a moto leather jacket.

2. Rothy’s Pointed Flats Outfits: Leggings and a cardigan
Leggings and a cardigan are a great combo for a casual weekend, staying at home during the week (as a mom or working from home), or just a teacher outfit!
This cardigan is a little more special with a belt around the waist, and the leopard flats create a perfect pop of pattern.

These are great shoes for work! They’re super comfortable and go great with a simple sweater and dress pants.
