Trying to figure out how to wear leather leggings in your outfit? They’re a huge trend for fall, so here are four easy outfit ideas to get you started!

Leather leggings are a perfect item for fall. Here’s why.

Leather is a huge trend for fall this year, and if you’re not quite ready to commit to leather pants (I’m still on the fence about them as well), leather leggings are a great in-between that gives you the leather look without a thick faux leather pant.

These are my favorite faux leather leggings

I’ve tried lots of different faux leather leggings over the years and Spanx is by far one of the best.

The fit is fantastic, they aren’t too shiny or fake leather looking, and they’re extremely comfortable. Also they don’t sag or stretch out AT ALL, EVER.

I picked mine up at Nordstrom, and if you buy them there they’ll hem them for you if you need it! Also Nordstrom has the best return policy, so if you have any issues or decide you don’t like them after a wear or two, you can easily return them. But I promise you’ll love them.

Here are a few ways to wear leather leggings this fall

Leather leggings outfit #1: try them with a long sweater

A curved hem sweater is a really flattering option, and this one from Nordstrom is lightweight and super comfortable.

I paired it with black ankle boots for a sleek long leg line, but you could definitely do brown ankle boot, a sneaker, or even a combat boot for a little edginess.

Leather leggings outfit #2: Dress them up with an all-black look

I love this outfit! This wrap cardigan is comfortable and flattering, and the black heels really elevate and dress up the whole look.

You could dress this down with ankle boots if that’s more your style.

FAUX LEATHER LEGGINGS | WRAP CARDIGAN | SIMILAR HEELS

Leather leggings outfit#3: Dress them down with a hoodie and sneakers

If you’re nervous to wear leather leggings, this is a great beginner outfit. The hoodie keeps it casual, the longer coat covers your buns if you’re feeling nervous about those hanging out, and sneakers are always easy to wear!

Leather leggings outfit #4: Style it with a blazer

Blazers are so popular this season and I’m loving them. Plus the longer length blazer keeps your booty covered.

I kept it simple with a white tee and combat boots, but you could wear simple black boots without laces, sneakers, or loafers for this outfit!

BLAZER | FAUX LEATHER LEGGINGS | WHITE TEE | SIMILAR COMBAT BOOTS

Now go wear your leather leggings!
