6 beginner sewing projects you can do at home right now
1. DIY cut-out felt heart sweatshirt
This was a fun beginner sewing project I did for Valentine’s Day, but you could do any shape to make it a little less festive.
You could do it with stars, circles, half circles, or any other shapes you’d like. The possibilities are endless!

2. Sweatshirt midi dress with side slit
This is one of my favorite ever homemade dresses. It’s a great lounging kind of dress that you can wear at home while you’re quarantined too!

3. Striped lounge pants sewing tutorial
Need a pair of sweatpants? This is an easy beginner sewing project for a pair of jogger lounge pants. They’re just a little more extensive than basic pajama pants you made when you were a kid.

4. Easy and customizable aprons
This is a really simple sewing tutorial for an apron you can make for your kids (or with your kids) or for yourself!
The best part about this tutorial is that you can use any fabric to make it as colorful and unique as you’d like!

5. Tie shoulder jumper dress
This is a dress that looks more complicated, but it’s actually so easy! It’s also perfect for spring. You could do it in different prints or colors too.

6. Lace up sweatshirt refashion tutorial
This is a really easy sweatshirt refashion project that will take you no time at all. It would also be cute to do the cuts on the sides of the sweatshirt rather than the neckline.
