Becoming a runner has been surprisingly empowering for me, and I’m excited to start training for my first half marathon! These are the women’s running shoes from Finish Line that I bought to train!

I started running in 2016 and it was really hard at first

A year and a half ago I started running. I wasn’t a runner in high school or college — in fact, one time in college when I was dating Philip we ran one mile together and I cried at the end cause it was so hard.

So I never, ever expected to become a regular runner.

But when I started running in 2016, I found that it was really empowering to push myself and see my progress as I learned to run faster and farther.

I’ve decided to run a half marathon!

In the last few months, I’ve done a few 10K distances, and it’s made me feel the desire to push myself to the next level. So…I’m going to run a half marathon!

I can hardly believe I’m saying those words — they make me excited and nervous all at once!

These are the women’s running shoes I bought to train for a half marathon

I’ve been running in the same pair of sneakers for the last year and a half, so it was time to get myself some new training shoes for my half marathon. I’ve teamed up with Finish Line today to share the pair of Adidas Ultraboost 4.0 running shoes I got myself to train for this half marathon, and I’ll start my training as soon as the new year is over.

I’ve felt pretty sluggish the last few weeks as the holiday treats have been in full swing and I’ve slacked off a bit in my regular exercise routines. So as soon as Christmas is over, I’m ready to jump into the new year, get myself back on the healthy wagon, and get training. I’m actually so excited!

The half marathon I’m planning to run is in June, so I have plenty of time to really train, and I’m excited to start breaking in these new running shoes.

These are the pros for me of the Adidas Ultraboost 4.0 Running Shoes

  1. They’re incredibly comfortable — I can totally wear them with or without socks because the upper is made of a soft, durable knit material
  2. These shoes have a BOOST foam cushioning that almost bounces when I run, propelling me to go faster. I’ve run in them a handful of times now and they’re so bouncy and cushioned – I’m loving them.
  3. They get amazing reviews, which is not the ultimate decision maker for me, but it certainly helps
  4. I love the dusty pink color I got, but they also come in a ton of other colors. I’ll totally be wearing these with jeans too!

I’ll be sharing more details about the race I’ve chosen hopefully soon because I’d love for some of you to join me in this race!

But in the mean time, check out Finish Line’s amazing collection of shoes and athletic wear for men and women, and if you’re in the market for new running shoes highly recommend these Adidas!

I’ve done a few half marathons and I never thought I’d ever run at all! I used to look at people in high school who were in cross country and thought they were crazy! Now I’m the crazy one. Good luck with your first half! It is such a good feeling to cross the finish line and feel empowered! you will be an inspiration to many who don’t think they can do it. many times, it is mind over matter!

That is so wonderful. you will do great. so amazing how far you have come. my husband and oldest son are pretty serious runners and they replace their running shoes every 6 months to make sure they get the proper support. make sure you check yours frequently since you’ll be packing on the miles now!!! good luck and happy holidays.

The student life is very difficult, and that is why I use a great service, https://essayreviewexpert.com/review/edusson/, which helped me find the platform I needed thanks to which I could continue to get excellent points. So, for example, I found the excellent edusson review and now I use only them.

Thank you for such a detailed narration. I have even read everything and I must notice that the theme is quite strange. I mean it about the shoes. If I had such themes at college I would never use an essay on studymoose.com Unfortunately, my essay topics are difficult
