“Make Your Own Sunshine” is one of my life mottos. It’s a phrase my mom taught me, and it means that you’re in charge of your happiness. This new Merrick White Collection sweatshirt is a tribute to this motto!
My life motto
When I got married, my mom told me, “It’s up to you to make your own sunshine.”
She meant that I couldn’t rely on my husband or my friends or her to make my life happy…I was the only one who could make my life happy.
For the last sixteen years of my marriage, I’ve worked hard to fill my life with things that make me happy. I certainly haven’t ALWAYS been happy, but I work really hard at making my own sunshine.
The newest additions to the Merrick White Collection
This has become my life motto, and so I’m super excited to share the launch of the new Merrick White Collection sweatshirt with a gorgeous embroidery on the neckline and sleeve that can help you remember to make your own sunshine.
The sweatshirt is available in sizes XS to XL, and it’s the most gorgeous dark teal color with white neckline embroidery and a yellow embroidered sun on the wrist.
We opened the sweatshirts this morning to text subscribers and they sold out in 30 minutes! But they’re available for pre-order in all sizes and will ship in 3-4 weeks. We have had such a huge amount of interest in these sweatshirts, far beyond what we expected, so we appreciate your patience while we get more into your hands!
Sizing on the MW Sweatshirts
These sweatshirts are unisex sizing, so they run oversized. If you want an oversized fit, order your true size. If you want a closer fit, order a size down. I wear a size XS. PRE-ORDER them right here.
A kid’s version of this sweatshirt!
We also teamed up with Sonny Threads to create a KID’S VERSION! The kid sweatshirt is available in sizes 2T to Youth 12 and shows four different styles of suns on the cute navy sweatshirt to show kids that their happiness and sunshine is unique to them. They can find happiness in whatever way they want, even if it’s different than someone else!
You can PRE-ORDER the adult sweatshirt RIGHT HERE (it’ll ship in 3-4 weeks).
You can purchase the kids sweatshirt RIGHT HERE.
