Slip skirts are so fun and feminine for spring. Here are a few slip skirt outfits you can copy this season!
These slip skirt outfits are cute and easy to copy!
I found this really pretty white slip skirt at Walmart a few weeks ago, and I want to show you how to wear it! Slip skirts are a fun style of skirt that I don’t wear very often, so I had fun putting together these three slip skirt outfits.
Hopefully they give you some inspiration for your closet!
An affordable place to find pieces for spring
Walmart has majorly stepped up their fashion game over the last few years. I found all of these pieces (except the shoes) at Walmart, and the prices are amazing.
If you’re looking for something new for spring, my favorite Walmart brands are Scoop, Time and Tru, and Free Assembly.
Three ways to wear a slip skirt for spring
Outfit #1: Try your slip skirt with a sweater and ankle boots
A slip skirt is usually thin material, so be careful with half tucking because it may add bulk to your tummy area (and definitely don’t fully tuck a sweater into a slip skirt). This slip skirt actually has a thick elastic waistband that gives some sturdiness to the waist area and allowed me to half tuck this sweater easily. Also this sweater is lightweight so it didn’t add bulk for me at all.
If you’re dealing with a thin slip skirt with no waistband, choose a shorter or cropped sweater, or tuck it up into your bra to give the look of a half tuck without the tuck-in bulk.
Since it’s still typically cold in the spring, a pair of ankle boots is a good choice. Just choose a pair that’s slim and dressy so it matches the dressiness level of the skirt.

Outfit #2: Dress down a slip skirt with a graphic tee and sneakers
You can absolutely dress down a slip skirt. A graphic tee is a perfect option for spring, and a great top to dress down a nicer skirt.
To keep the outfit balanced, a pair of sneakers is a great shoe option that matches the casual level of the tee.
And then to make the dressy skirt not feel completely out of place, add some delicate gold jewelry to dress up the entire outfit.

Outfit #3: A blazer can make a slip skirt super professional
I’m so obsessed with this blazer I found at Walmart. I think any blazer makes an outfit feel super chic and professional, and this one in particular is so good.
To keep the blazer the focus, I chose simple black blouse underneath. I love the black and white combination together!
And, of course, since the outfit is so dressy, I chose a pair of black pumps and some gold jewelry to finish the look.
