I found this darling plaid blazer at Walmart a few weeks ago and put together this plaid red blazer outfit for a holiday party last week. I rarely wear bright red during the rest of the year, but during the month of December it’s all I want to wear!
What to wear with a statement blazer
Since the plaid blazer is a statement piece, I kept the rest of my outfit neutral and simple. A black lace top (mine is made by me, but this kind of cami is similar), and black jeans make for a great outfit foundation, and then I added black pointed loafers for a chic finishing touch.
If you really wanted to go bold, add a swipe of red lipstick to complete the look.
