Next week is my birthday, and since moms and husbands always ask for ideas, I put together a birthday wishlist of a few things I’d love.

1. Running shorts

Now that it’s super hot, and I’m running almost everyday, I’ve been blowing through my collection of running shorts so fast. I own two pairs of UNDER ARMOUR running shorts in white and dark blue and they’re my fave. Lightweight, super comfortable, adjustable waistband, built in brief, and only $25.

You can see my other favorite pair of running shorts from Amazon IN THIS POST.

2. Custom fit running shoes.

I love to buy myself a gift every year, because that’s what adults do, right? This is my gift to myself this year. I’ve been wanting to go to an athletic shoe store and get my feet fit for a running shoe for months, so now that things are opening back up, I’m going for it and I’m really excited.

3. Stainless steel pans

A few years after we got married, my mom gave us a set of stainless steel pans for Christmas. They’re incredible and I use them everyday. I want to add a few more to my collection to have a complete set and get rid of my other junky pans I still own, like my mini sauce pan, my small pot, and a large flat skillet.

4. Wide gold ring

I’ve been super into wearing rings lately, and I’ve had my eye on this WIDE GOLD RING from Madewell for ages. Probably will be my other birthday gift to myself.

5. MojiLife Air Freshener

My friend, Tara, has raved about these bluetooth air fresheners for years and after going through a million candles, I’m ready to try something new. These have levels of scent strength, and you can control the times the machine turns on and off, so you don’t have to have it running all day and night. So clever!

6. Raising boys sweatshirt

A few weeks ago when we were in California, I saw this sweatshirt on a mom at the beach. I think it’s such a chic and simple design, it gets amazing reviews, and was made for a mama of three boys, like me!

7. Gym equipment

This is what I’m actually getting for my birthday. We’re turning our upstairs balcony into an enclosed gym with big open windows, and we’re going to need some gym equipment to put in there! Philip is doing tons of research on equipment, and we’re super excited to put this room together. I’ll be sharing everything we end up purchasing!

Great list! For gym equipment you should look into getting a Tonal! We got one right before they closed all the gyms due to covid and boy was i glad we DID. Its perfect for small spaces, think like a peloton but for weightlifting. They have tons of different programs and the technology behind the weights is amazing. Its all magnetic so you dont need a lot of different weights or equipment. Its even spots you! So cool. Im not affiliated with them at all we just love ours!!
