I’ve been living in lightweight dresses lately. Some of my favorites are midi length because I can run and play with the boys, sit on the ground, cut fabric and patterns down on the floor on my hands and knees, and pretty much anything else all while staying covered up and comfy.

I spotted this midi dress at LOFT a few weeks ago and instantly fell in love with the feminine silhouette and pattern. LOFT is one of those stores that I always forget about, and then I’m always pleasantly surprised when I check out their pieces. They have feminine, classic pieces, and their prices are always amazing. I just bought myself this top, but I’m also loving this skirt and this skirt. This dress is such a good one for dressing down with flats or sandals during the summer, or dressing up with heels or wedges for church or date night. You could also throw on a leather, denim, or anorak jacket over it, or a blazer or cardigan sweater. I love the idea of wearing a chambray or white button-up top, or even a simple tee tied over it. So many possibilities!

Here I wore it by itself for summer with my new blush Tieks. These are cool little flats that fold up and are easy to store in your purse to swap out with heels. They’re the perfect shoe for travel, and this new blush patent leather color is dreamy and goes with everything!
