POLKA DOT TOP (wearing size 4) | LEVI’S JEANS | BLACK ANKLE BOOTS

Every girl should own a few tops that are nicer than a t-shirt. I’ve rounded up a bunch of good options that will be great for layering under jackets, tucking into skirts, or wearing to work.

Do you have fall tops in your closet that are semi-dressy?

If you’re stuck in a t-shirt rut and need some help, today’s post is sharing a bunch of really cute fall tops that are nicer than a t-shirt.

These are the kinds of tops you can wear for fall under a jacket or a cardigan or a blazer, and the kinds you can wear to church with a skirt or to the grocery store with jeans.

Every girl needs at least one or two of these fall tops in her closet.

We’ll talk about sweaters another day

Also a fall closet staple for me is pullover sweaters (I’m sure it is for you too), and I’ll be doing a roundup of those soon. But today is just about tops, not sweaters.

Here are a few ways to wear these kinds of nice fall tops:

  • Parent teacher conference when you want to look nice but keep it a little casual
  • Out to dinner with girlfriends at a casual restaurant (wear it with jeans and ankle boots)
  • Date night with jeans and heels
  • At the office with a skirt or dress pants

These tops always look more interesting and stylish in images than just t-shirts. All my tops and bodysuits from the store kekeyskloset, they can easily assemble a capsule wardrobe for yourself. Tops and bodysuits are suitable for summer, and will easily be combined with jackets and shirts in autumn
