The blogosphere has been buzzing with Easter clothing the last week or two, so here I am piping up in my little corner of the internet to share our Easter outfits.
I had very little motivation to make something for the boys, so when my wonderful sponsor One Little Belt offered to send the boys matching ties and belts for their Easter outfits, I jumped at the chance. And then my mom told me she wanted to make them matching vests, and suddenly my job became very easy.
At that point, all I had to do was find myself a fun new dress and call it a day.
dress: target // shoes: payless (old) // watch: michael kors // bracelets: old // clutch: thrifted |
I wish I’d gotten a picture of just the boys in their first ever matching outfit (remind me to make them match more often — that was the funnest thing ever!), but this will have to do.
Due to a few major blowouts, Buck went through two more outfits, finally landing himself in this one, made of a hodge-podge of semi-dressy clothes. Good thing he makes anything look cute 🙂
The days activities also included church, an easter egg hunt…
…and dinner with Philip’s wonderful cousin, Christi, who lives in Huntington Beach. I was in charge of dessert and brought this beauty. Holy heavens, it was insanely delicious.

Don't you just love babies and blow outs?? I don't miss those days…it's so hard to find cute outfits for boys…they look great! Happy Easter!
p.s. sooo looking forward to trying your peplum tutorial, just got to get motivated to do it this week!
It is SO hard to find cute outfits for boys, especially dressy clothes. Thankfully Easter and Christmas bring some good options to the stores.
And good luck with the peplum top! If you blog about it, send me a link — I'd love to see it!
Buck's outfit in those later pictures… Oh my goodness! What a stylish little man! I love seeing these boys grow, they are so precious.

The orange pants!! The cutest. And sorry I'm always asking you nursing questions, but how did you nurse in that dress??
Haha — I would be curious too 🙂 The neckline of the dress is loose enough that I can pull it down to nurse. I love that I'm able to wear dresses now that I've discovered that a lot of necklines are nursing accessible!
Love that dress! And the matching outfits are killer – my husband and son matched last year (just coordinated this year) and I'm dying for more boys so that I can get them all matching bow ties!
Your dress is adorable. And I love the family photo with the matching outfits – so cute. But seriously, the little guy in his orange pants (with a belt!!!!) is one of the cutest things I've ever seen. He is ultra adorable.
how is even possible for a mama to be so cute?
and omg your boys! seriously darling. i absolutely love seeing photos of them. so cute 🙂
I think Bucks last outfit was adorable!! N
Your dress is really pretty!! I love the outfit little Buck ended up in, big ties on little babies are adorable!

so pretty! and I love those orange pants!
That was my Easter dress, too! Pleased to see I styled it similarly… that makes my day!
I LOVE that dress. And the boys look adorable… I have to stay away from the kids sections in every store because with two nieces and two nephews, the temptation to get matching everything is so strong!
Happy Easter! Your family is beautiful 🙂
They look DARLING! So glad the belts fit so well! You all looked fab- hope you had a great day!
We did! And the belts and ties both fit perfectly! Thank you again — I loooved them!
hi Merrick! Remember me? I am one of your newest followers. I saw your same dress at Target. I love that print. I courting the idea of getting a top I saw there. It is fabulous, huh? [great minds think alike]. Your sons are so adorable. Oh you are so lucky to have such sweet young guys. I only have one grandson, 3 grandgirls but my grandson melts my heart. awh.
Your boys are precious! And, I love you dress 🙂 Such a gorgeous family picture.
I bought the skirt at our local Target….love that print!!! 🙂
I saw that dress at Target and didn't pay any attention to it at all, but now that I see you wearing it, it's GORGEOUS. Looks amazing on you!
And your two kids are the cutest, and your mom made those sweaters? That's skill! I love their little belts and ties. The little one slays me with how cute his little outfit is.
AND THAT CAKE. YUM.
buck is just the cutest! i love that he's such a chubster, and that outfit was perfect! also, your dress? amazing. way to go, target.
This is so beautiful on you! I tried this one but the sort of cap sleeves weren't working for my arms. You are so gorgeous, Merrick!

Oh my Merrick, you look stunning! Now I need to scour target for that dress. And are you kidding me with F? I just stare at pictures if him. I can't wait for he and Cash to play together!
Oh, your baby is SO cute! His big eyes and smile are killing me! I would just snuggle him all day. 🙂
Love the pattern of your dress fabric. Stunning choice. I also love the way you dressed your little men. Such handsome little devils. the tie kills me. Almost as big as he is. I love it. Happy, Happy easter!
I got the same dress recently and got a bunch of compliments when I wore it last week. It's fantastically classy. 🙂
Same here — I can't believe how many compliments it attracted! You're right, it is so classy.
UM, Buck needs to get into baby modeling STAT!! The blowout was worth it — his outfit is FANTASTIC.
