Button down shirts the most versatile shirts out there. My closet is filled with them in all different varieties — crisp white, chambray, gingham, plaid, striped…so many. There are lots of ways to wear them, but today I’m teaming up with Nordstrom to share a quick video sharing six of my favorite ways to wear them. They’re all so easy to do and will open up your wardrobe to a lot more possibilities.

I chose this deep green plaid button down for this video because it’s so perfect for fall and winter. It’s great for a casual day paired with my favorite boyfriend jeans, but you could wear it with black leather leggings or a leather skirt, or with dark jeans and over the knee boots, or even dress it up by tucking it in to a gold sequin skirt!
