Trying to figure out what to wear to a job interview? Here are three outfit ideas to help you get ready for your important appointment.

What to wear for a job interview

I’ve had lots of requests for what to wear for a job interview, so today I’m sharing three outfit formulas to help you get ready for that important date.

Outfit formula 1: skirt and blouse

For a job interview, a skirt and blouse is a great choice. But it doesn’t have to be boring! Choose a fun skirt in whatever style works best for your body type, like a FUN PENCIL SKIRT or a SATIN MIDI SKIRT, and balance it out with something classic and chic, like a WHITE BUTTON DOWN.

Finish the outfit with classic PUMPS or HEELED SANDALS or FLATS.

Outfit formula 2: dress pants and a blazer

A suit pants outfit is a super professional choice, and while a matching blazer and dress pants are definitely the right option sometimes, you can also have a little fun with your outfit while still feeling very professional and appropriate.

This LINEN BLAZER is so chic and gorgeous (not to mention affordable), and would look amazing with a pair of cigarette style BLACK DRESS PANTS.

Show your personality a little bit and add a pop of pattern with your BLOUSE underneath the blazer (go for a simple polka dot or floral if you feel like leopard is too edgy), and finish the outfit with classic accessories like GOLD HOOPS and BLACK PUMPS.

Outfit formula 3: chic dress and pumps

A chic dress is a great choice for an interview, especially for a more creative position where you won’t be wearing business attire everyday and want to express your personality and creativity a bit.

Choose something with a fun print or color, but in a classic style like a SHIRT DRESS or a PENCIL DRESS. That will keep it feeling professional, even if it’s a bright color or a bolder print.

Keep the rest of the outfit understated with simple PUMPS and basic EARRINGS.
