Powder blue is one of the big colors of the year, especially for spring. It’s a gorgeous color, but if you purchased something in this color, it might be tricky to figure out what to wear with it.
I picked up this gorgeous LIGHT BLUE SKIRT from Anthropologie a few weeks ago and have been wanting to style it, so I’m going to share a ton of really great colors you can wear with this light blue shade.
Remember, these outfits are just color combination ideas, so if you have a light blue top, you can pair shoes or accessories or pants or shorts or a skirt in the color combinations to get the same look, without having the exact same pieces.

LIGHT BLUE + WHITE
This is a really obvious combination that you will all know to pair, but I wanted to show you with a gorgeous lace top. This is a perfect kind of date night or better than basic top that is so versatile, and looks so good with light powder blue!
Remember, if you don’t have a powder blue skirt, you could do POWDER BLUE PANTS, or even LIGHT WASH JEANS.

POWDER BLUE + NAVY BLUE
I love a good monochromatic outfit, and pairing blue and blue together is always a good idea. These shades are dramatically different, which makes them work really well together to create a balanced outfit. I paired with some loafers for a workwear style outfit.

I love this combination! I wasn’t sure if I would, but the soft olive green works well with the powder blue, and I chose nude pumps to go with it to not add additional competing colors.

POWDER BLUE + STRIPES
Stripes go with EVERYTHING, and powder blue is no exception! This is a gorgeous and classic combination. I paired with light colored loafers for a more casual feel with the dressier skirt.

Cream is another obvious choice that totally works with any color. The blue is quite icy here, so the cream softens it a bit. I chose a beautiful eyelet top to go with the pleats in the skirt, and I love how this came together. Feminine and springy.

Can you pair dark black with this light springy powder blue? YES! Just choose some black shoes to balance the outfit. I chose heeled sandals so the outfit didn’t feel bottom heavy with a clunky or heavy black shoe.

Light blue and soft pink are a really nice, soft, spring-y combination that you could put together with pieces in your closet!

Again with the monochromatic, but this time very literally! I have this powder blue turtleneck from Everlane and knew it would be perfect with this skirt to create a full light blue look. I just wish I’d added a skinny gold or tan or white belt to break up all the blue! I didn’t think of it til after I took the pictures.

I’m obsessed with this floral top from Mille, and I think it works perfectly with the blue in this skirt. It’s more of a bold look, so I stuck with a neutral shoe.

POWDER BLUE + SLATE BLUE
This is one of my favorite looks out of the bunch. The beautiful slate blue is a perfect compliment to the icy blue. I chose a pair of woven neutral flats to finish the look and I love how it came together.

I honestly wasn’t sure about this one when I put it on, but I ended up loving it! The bold bright pink with the icy blue creates a really fun and unexpected color combo! Again, since the outfit is bold, I chose neutral heels so they wouldn’t compete.

I absolutely adore this combination. The dark green and light blue are such a striking combination together, and I love them. If you do any of these combos, make it this one!

LIGHT BLUE + CHOCOLATE BROWN
I wasn’t so sure about this one, but I actually loved it once I put it together! The brown and blue are beautiful together, and the square neck top is so feminine and beautiful against the pleats of the skirt. I paired brown shoes with the outfit to balance the dark brown top.

I considered pairing this skirt with bold red, but I didn’t like how it looked together. Burgundy, on the other hand, is a perfect pairing with the powder blue. If you have burgundy pieces from the holidays, try them with powder blue!

This is another combination I wasn’t expecting to love, but I do! Blue and purple are next to each other on the color wheel, so they’re made to go together!
