Last weekend, my wonderful friends threw me a darling little baby shower. Kayla was the mastermind behind the whole thing, putting together an adorable “Welcome To The World” shower. Because I was having another boy, and didn’t really need a shower, we kept it small. It was perfect — just a good chance to spend time with my friends, eat good food, and let our boys play.

All the decorations were map and globe themed, and were perfect.

The food was from around the world too, including yellow curry (my fave), caprese pops (I could have eaten these all day), lettuce wraps, and crepes (with a bunch of different fillings). Oh, it was all so good.

And of course there was cake 🙂

Each of the girls decorated onesies for the baby, and because of the stencils that Kayla provided, they all turned out SO cute. Majorly looking forward to putting baby boy in these!

It was such a perfect afternoon — now it’s time to actually welcome this baby into the world!

I'm so glad you loved it, I had such a fun time putting it together 🙂 oh an I can't wait to see baby boy in those cute onesies too! (Which I still have and will bring to you ASAP…)

Great idea with the stencil for the onesies! I've been to so many baby showers where the "make a onesie for the baby" activity turned into a competition for who could make the ugliest one. Leave it to you and Kayla to ensure it comes out cute!

I love the theme too, and that map bunting! So sweet.

  10. Oh, my gosh – Merrick! That is the cutest shower theme I've seen in a long time. And that it was small and relaxed makes it that much better. <3
