merricksart favorite things

I share my favorite things quite a bit, but today I wanted to share the favorite things from my group of friends! We just had a beauty-themed Favorite Things Party, here’s what was brought!

The Best Things At My Favorite Things Party

Here in St. Louis, my group of girlfriends throws a favorite things party in February. (If you want to throw one, see all the details HERE). This year, the party focused on beauty items!

I’ve shared my favorite things, but I thought it’d be fun to share some favorites that friends brought to this beauty-themed favorite things party. Save this post for your next favorite things party, or for the next time you need a quick and easy gift idea!

If you want to host your own, all the the Favorite Things party details are in THIS POST!

Favorite Beauty Products my friends brought to the party:

Naturium Body Wash (GlowGetter Multi-oil) – this is a super inexpensive body wash that my friend shared is her very favorite. Very subtle smell, and makes your skin feel incredible.

Dove 10-in-1 serum mask bond strength – when my friend shared this, half the girls started gushing about how this is the best hair mask they’ve ever used…WAY better than any of the super expensive products they’d used before.

Almay Liquid Eyeliner – my friend has tried so many liquid eyeliners to get a perfect line and a little wing, and she said this one is the best one because the tip is firm, rather than a paint brush which is harder to control.

IT confidence in an eye cream – this is one of the gifts that I went home with, and multiple people said that it’s their favorite eye cream cause it has a little caffeine in it so it brightens and depuffs super quickly. I’ve been using it since I got it and have definitely noticed a difference!

GUM Tongue scraper – this was the other gift I got (from our friend who’s a hygienist) and she said everyone needs to be using one! You think your tongue is clean, she said, but it’s not!

It’s a 10 Miracle leave in conditioner – as soon as my friend pulled this out of her gift bag, half of the room started gushing about it.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water – I considered bringing this alongside my main gift, but someone else brought it and it’s seriously the best thing. I use after I wash my face, and use a face sponge (cotton pad works great too) that’s saturated in a little of this, and you get all the extra junk and makeup off your face that you didn’t know was still on there. It’s amazing and shocking how much comes off even after you’ve cleaned your face!

Tinkle facial razors – if you haven’t tried these, they’re a great tool for shaving off peach fuzz and making your makeup go on super smoothly!

Deep Blemish Microdarts for cystic acne – the girl who brought these raved about them as the supercharged version of Mighty Patches. They go on like a mighty patch, but they’re bigger and way stronger, so the work for cystic acne. She said that a cystic acne spot usually lasts for about 12 days on her face, and this brings it down to 4, and not as severe!

dae Cactus Fruit 3-in-1 Styling Cream – I’m sure you’ve heard of dae products…they’re everywhere right now and this seems to be everyone’s favorite versatile option.

Biore Japanese Water Sunscreen 50SPF+++ – the girl who brought this said it’s the best and strongest sunscreen for your face that you will ever try. It’s a must try for everyone to keep their skin protected!

Mario Badescu Lip balm – the girl who brought this compared it to Laneige, and said everyone tries and loves that, but this is wayyyyy better.

GoPure tighten & Lift neck cream – this is what I brought! It’s a magical neck cream that tightens everything up and keeps it super smooth. The before and after results they show are wiiiiiild. I’ve been using for about 6 months, and I’ve noticed that my neck isn’t looking crepey or lined anymore!

The Daily Essential Co washable makeup sponges Use Code:TDEMERRICK – this is the other thing that I brought because these are my faaaavorite. I’ve tried other makeup sponges, but nothing has compared to how plush and fabulous these are. They’re so soft, and they come in a big pack so you can use them everyday for a week. They also come with a little wash bag so they don’t get lost in the machine.

Tacha Rice Polish (exfoliator) – the girl that brought this said that a lady at Ulta told her to buy it and it quickly became one of her favorite things! She has sensitive skin and other exfoliants irritate her skin, but this one is super effective but very gentle.

CeraVe Retinol Serum – the same girl that brought the rice polish brought this serum and said it’s her favorite to use a few times a week to help with smooth, even skin tone and anti-aging.

Poeroes Eye Serum – the girl who brought this is a swimmer and said her under eyes get puffy under her goggles and then stay puffy the rest of the day, until she bought and started using this serum. It’s like an instant cooling and depuffing and works like magic!

Floretsio Collagen under eye patch – these are caffeinated eye patches that keep your eyes from being puffy and help brighten them!

Heatless curlers – if you haven’t tried the heatless curler craze, everyone loves these and swears by them for easy curls without the heat or the time.

L’Oréal Revitalift anti wrinkle +firming Night and Day – the girl who brought this said it’s her all time favorite face cream!

Kristin Ess workable hairspray+ heat protector – the girl who brought this said it’s her favorite hairspray.

I Dew Care Tap Secret Dry shampoo powder – I’ve seen this new version of dry shampoo popping up, but hadn’t tried it, but this got rave reviews from multiple people in the room. She said the original formula is the best, even if you have dark hair.

IT Cosmetics Setting spray – we love a setting spray for keeping your makeup on all day, and this girl swears by this one!

Redkin Acidic Bonding Travel Kit – this girl said the shampoo and conditioner in this set are the best and have helped her hair get so much stronger, smoother, and longer.

Bad Gal Volumizing mascara – I’ve never tried this mascara, but this got rave reviews and I love trying new makeup products, so I’ll have to give this one a try.

7️⃣6️⃣ Sol de Janiero Bodyspray (blue) – Apparently Sol de Janiero is THEEE brand for tween and teen girls, and this is the best scent. It’s not as strong or long lasting as perfume, but is perfect for younger girls. The

Grace & Stella eye patches – these were another eye patch that several people raved about! I’m really wanting to try them!

ELEMIS pro collagen cleansing balm – the girl who brought this said it’s the most gentle, nice cleanser ever and makes your makeup just melt away!

Amika: the shield any humidity – if you struggle with your hair getting frizzy in the humidity, the girl who brought this said it was the best she’d tried! It doesn’t weight down your hair or make it feel sticky, it just keeps everything smooth.

Babe Lash Serum – you probably know and love babe lash’s serum! I’ve used it for years and swear by it. No eyelash serum out there works faster than this one!

FALSCARA Fake Lashes – the girl who brought these said they’re her favorite false lashes that go on so easily and last her for several days. She wore them to the party and they look so natural!

Flawless finishing touch electric razor – if you use twinkle razors, this is an electric version! Perfect for removing unwanted facial hair quickly and easily, and leaves your face super smooth. I want to try this!

Good Molecules Mate wake up eye gel – Another eye cream…you can tell we’re all around 40 year old women who are trying to manage all the new wrinkles and lines popping up! This one is this girls’ favorite and I want to try.

Moxe Shower Eucalyptus spray – This spray looks amazing – it’s a shower spray that makes your shower feel and smell like a spa for a relaxing experience. I think we all need this!!
