Time for this week’s dinner ideas! It was a really busy week with a lot of events, but I loved the time we had to eat together at home.

Our weekly menu will give you some good dinner ideas

Time for this week’s dinner ideas! While we had a lot more meals out/leftovers than normal, I still wanted to share what a busy week of dinners looks like for us.

Here’s a quick review of our weekly dinners:

Monday: Turkey Noodle Soup

Tuesday: Leftover Turkey

Wednesday: Free Choice

Thursday: Charity Event

Friday: Mavericks Game

Saturday: BBQ Chicken Pizza

Sunday: Lasagana

Sunday Dessert: Ooey Gooey Butter Cake Bars

Turkey Noodle Soup

On Sunday last week, we made a traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner since we were in Mexico for Thanksgiving. We always do turkey soup with the leftover turkey, and it’s the best!

BBQ Pizza

This is our favorite pizza. We put grilled chicken, BBQ sauce, frozen corn, and fresh jalapeños on it.

Lasagna

I don’t make lasagna very often cause it’s pretty involved, but it’s a good Sunday night dinner. This one is delicious and pretty simple!

Ooey Gooey Butter Cake Bars

This is one of my all time favorite desserts. It’s pretty easy to make and super rich and filled with butter (hence the name) but it is SO delicious. If you’ve never tried it, you must!

What I cooked for dinner last week

Time for this week’s dinner ideas! We are going out of town for the weekend, so I cooked at the start of the week and prepped a freezer meal for Sunday.

Our weekly menu will give you some good dinner ideas!

This weekend Philip and I snuck out of town to attend his dad’s wedding, so I made dinner Monday through Thursday, and then I prepped a freezer meal for Sunday when we got home!

Here’s a quick review of our weekly dinners:

Monday: Chicken Teriyaki (with steamed broccoli and white rice)

Tuesday: All American Chili and Cornbread Muffins

Wednesday: Leftovers

Thursday: Tostadas

Friday: Out of Town

Saturday: Out of Town

Sunday: Manicotti

Sunday Dessert: Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chicken Teriyaki

I’ve made this recipe before – it’s super simple, just marinade the chicken and throw on the grill! My kids gobble it up and loved it.

All American Chili

This is our favorite chili recipe. It’s super hardy and so delicious, with both ground beef and smoked sausage. It’s a crowd favorite at our house.

Ground Beef Tostadas

These are an easy weeknight meal that my kids love so much. I try to always have ingredients for this recipe on hand so we can make it in a pinch.

Manicotti

I made this recipe ahead of time and kept it in the fridge so it was ready for Sunday dinner when we got home on Sunday evening. Hoping it’s a success!

Chocolate Chip Cookies

These are our favorite chocolate chip cookies EVER. They’re absolutely perfect. Soft and gooey in the inside, but crisp on the outside. Trust me, you have to try them!
