If you have teenagers in your house, you know the hype around Nike sneakers. I bought myself a pair of Air Jordan 1 Lows, and after sharing them on Instagram, I got a ton of requests for a styling session. So here are 5 cute outfits with these trendy Nike sneakers.

Nike sneakers are the “it” shoe with the teens and college kids these days. Most of the GenZ trends are not for me, but I actually think these shoes are fun, and I picked up a blue and white pair of Air Jordan 1 Lows last fall to wear to the boy’s football games.

I’ve had tons of requests for a styling session with these shoes, so here are five cute, mom-appropriate outfits with Nike sneakers.

Mom-Friendly Outfits With Nike Air Jordan 1 Lows

These shoes are a little less sleek than most of the fashion shoes that I normally wear, plus the blue and white combination makes them quite a statement. Between those two things, I chose outfits that were more simple and sleek to help balance the statement shoes.

Try them with basics!

These sneakers are definitely a statement, so I paired them with classic basics. White tee, light wash jeans, fitted leather jacket, and a baseball hat. I could have done a black or white baseball cap (or another color), but the blue helps tie in the blue of the shoes and make them feel purposeful.

This is a great outfit for weekends, sports games in the spring, or just an everyday errands and life kind of outfit.

Make a casual statement with a date night outfit

This is a similar outfit that I wore to a recent professional basketball game. Typically I’d wear some flats or boots with this outfit, but the statement sneakers give sporty vibes that are perfect for a sporting event date night, or even going to somewhere like Top Golf!

Wear them to cheer on your kids at sporting events

I bought these shoes in this color combo specifically to wear to sporting events for my kids and our high school football team. Our colors are all black, white, and blue, so these shoes are perfect for that.

I paired them with comfy jeans, a team shirt, a baseball hat in the team color, and my favorite lightweight puffer coat. Of course, if it’s colder, definitely wear a heavier jacket and warmer pants, and throw some socks on to keep your ankles warm!

Try a sporty elevated look

This outfit was a little outside my comfort zone, but I actually love how it came together. This half zip pullover is crazy soft and cozy, and gives an elevated sporty vibe. I wore with my favorite coated jeans that give a leather pants look without being stiff or too shiny, and then added these fun sneakers.

This is another outfit I’d wear to a sporting event date night for sure!

Try these shoes with leggings and a jacket

These shoes are perfect for running around town and wearing something comfy and cute…and seriously these shoes are so comfy!

Try them with leggings and a tee, and then add a jacket for a little extra booty coverage. I added a crossbody bag and a baseball hat for a few accessories, but you can do what works for your style.
