If you have teenagers in your house, you know the hype around Nike sneakers. I think the most difficult to style are the high top Nike sneakers, so I bought a pair and here are some styling tips with these trendy Nike sneakers.
Nike sneakers are the “it” shoe with the teens and college kids these days. Most of the GenZ trends are not for me, but I actually think these some of these shoes are fun!
I did a post last year with Nike low sneakers (you can check it out HERE), but since mid sneakers are really popular right now, I wanted to share some styling ideas with these sneakers. I think they’re quite a bit harder to style.
I bought THIS PAIR, which I think is easier for me to style. It feels like styling a tan ankle boot, since the colors are very neutral and similar to my skin color. Brighter, bolder colors can be a little more difficult to style since they draw so much attention to your feet and can give your outfit a bottom heavy feel, but all of these outfits can give you some inspiration with pieces in your closet, regardless of the color of your nike shoes.

These sneakers are true to size for me! I know that with some Nike sneakers they can run small or large, but I got my normal size 8 and they fit perfectly and are very comfortable.
Mom-Friendly Outfits With Nikes
These shoes are a great option with yoga pants or full length pants
I’m sure you’ve seen people wear their Nike mids with full length jeans, but that feels a little clunky for me. A skinnier flared pair of yoga pants felt better for me cause it gives me some shape on my legs before the clunky sneakers!

These sneakers totally work with a casual dress. I paired with a denim jacket to balance a clunkier shoe, then added a hat to add attention up to my face, and a cute crossbody bag. This is a great warmer spring outfit.

Try these sneakers with a lounge set
Sometimes it’s hard to know what shoes work best with a lounge set, but these casual sneakers are actually a great option. This lounge set has pants that are wide leg and full length, but don’t fully reach the floor, so a high top sneaker is a good option to give you a little coverage with that more awkward length of pants that isn’t quite full length and isn’t quite cropped.

These shoes are perfect for a sporting event outfit
I get questions all the time about what to wear to a sporting event, like a professional hockey or basketball game, and this is a great outfit you could probably put together with things already in your closet.
