Things You Should Know Before The Merrick White Collection Launch

Our new Merrick White clothing collection launches in just a few short days! Today’s blog post is answering your FAQ’s and helping you get ready for the launch. Mark your calendars!

 

With only a few days left before the launch of the Merrick White clothing collection, we wanted to share some information to prepare you for the launch.

These are your frequently asked questions over the last few weeks, and some helpful information before the launch date.

WHEN IS THE COLLECTION LAUNCH DATE?

The collection is launching May 21, 2019 – next Tuesday!

 

WHAT TIME WILL THE LAUNCH HAPPEN?

9:00am PST/ 12:00pm EST

 

WHERE WILL I BE ABLE TO BUY THE COLLECTION?

The collection will exclusively be on MerrickWhite.com. The site will be closed until the morning of the launch, but will be open and live on May 21st at 9:00am PST!

 

DO YOU HAVE FREE SHIPPING?

Yes! We offer free shipping on orders over $100.

 

WHAT COUNTRIES WILL YOU BE SHIPPING TO?

Currently we are only shipping within the United States and US territories and Canada. We hope to expand to other countries as soon as possible!

 

HOW LONG WILL PRE-ORDERS BE OPEN?

Pre-orders will be open for two weeks. They will close at 8:00pm PST/11:00pm EST on June 5th.

After this date, the store will close for a couple of weeks while inventory comes in. After all pre-orders are fulfilled, we will re-open the shop with any remaining summer collection inventory.

 

ARE THERE ANY INCENTIVES TO SHOPPING DURING PRE-ORDER?

Of course! We will be offering 10% off all orders during our pre-order period. We will not be offering any other discounts on this collection, so take advantage of the pre-order period!

 

WHEN WILL ORDERS SHIP OUT?

Our first batch of inventory will arrive at our warehouse the middle of June. We will be fulfilling orders as quickly as possible. We hope to have everything shipped out by the end of June, but we appreciate your patience with us as we work out any kinks during our first season.

Our second batch of inventory will arrive in July, and we will be very upfront with each of you about the timing of your order. Our team will be working very hard to get your order to you as quickly as possible. You will also receive email updates automatically when your order has been packaged and shipped!

 

WHAT’S YOUR RETURN POLICY?

All returns or exchanges of unworn, unwashed, undamaged, or defective clothing items may be made for a full refund or exchange within 30 days of the shipping date.

We will have a full page on our website with details on how to return or exchange your item.

 

WHAT SIZES WILL THE DRESSES COME IN?

We are currently offering size extra small through size extra large. This is numerically size 0-16. If we receive demand to add additional sizes, we will consider doing so in the future!

 

WILL YOU BE OFFERING PETITE OR TALL SIZING?

We do not have petite or tall sizing specifically, but between our two lengths of dresses, we think that you’ll be able to find something that works for you! We show the dresses on models ranging in height from 5’0” to 5’9”, and from size extra small to size large, and all of the dresses looked amazing on them. Also, the tie around the waist is completely adjustable, so it works whether your torso is short or long.

 

WHAT’S THE PRICE RANGE?

Our summer season dresses range in price from $85 to $89. During pre-orders they will be discounted 10%.  We will be adding items in the future, at varying price-points.

 

DO YOU HAVE ANY NURSING FRIENDLY DRESSES?

Yes! This summer collection has two dresses with a henley neckline. The buttons are fully functional and very nursing friendly!

 

ARE THESE DRESSES MATERNITY FRIENDLY?

Definitely. The waistbands can be removed for a more flowy swing dress, or you can tie the waist above your bump.

 

WILL YOU ONLY BE SELLING DRESSES?

Our summer collection will be just these six dresses. In the fall we will be adding another product category, and plan to introduce additional product categories in 2020!

 

ARE THE DRESSES MACHINE WASHABLE?

Yes! We know you guys are busy moms, working women, college students, or grandmothers. No need for dry cleaning – just machine wash these on a delicate setting and lay them flat to dry to preserve the amazing buttery soft quality of the fabric and avoid any pilling.

 

CAN I SEE THE ENTIRE COLLECTION BEFORE LAUNCH?

WHAT SIZE IS MERRICK WEARING IN THE NEW LINE?

Merrick wears a small in all the dresses. This is equivalent to size 2-4, which is her normal dress size. Each of the dresses will have a corresponding numerical size range.

If your size is in between two of the sizes, we recommend going up for the midi dress and down for the knee length dress. 

For example, our size large is numerically size 10-12. Size x-large is size 14-16. If you are a size 12-14, get a size large in the knee length dress, and a size x-large in the midi dress.

 

AFTER INVENTORY IS RECEIVED IN JUNE, HOW QUICKLY WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?

All orders will be sent via basic economy shipping, which is 5-7 business days.

After we receive our first batch of inventory, we will be shipping out orders as soon as possible. You will receive an automated email saying your order has been fulfilled and is on its way to the post office. Once your order is scanned into the postal system and begins tracking, please plan on 5-7 business days from that date.  

IS THIS A ONE TIME COLLECTION OR WILL YOU OFFER MORE COLLECTIONS AND STYLES IN THE FUTURE?

We will be offering 3 seasons every year (spring, summer, fall), plus a small Christmas collection! Get excited.
