THE WEEKEND
top: c/o hello fab // jeans: old navy (altered by me with Melissa’s tutorial and my tutorial) (similar here and here) // bag: c/o persunmall // sandals: target (similar) // sunglasses: target (similar) // earrings: gift from Landen (anthropologie – similar here) // watch: gift from Philip (burberry) |
Last Thursday we packed our bags and headed off for a weekend in Utah for my family reunion. We spent one day with Philip’s family, which is always a blast, and then the rest of the weekend with my family in Park City. Between late night YouTube marathons with my younger brother, dressing up as Morticia Addams (if you follow along on instagram you already saw that), and Buck sleeping through both flights there and back (meaning I got two naps as well!), it was a fantastic weekend. Happily we’re only back to real life for two days before we jet off to Las Vegas for a few more days with my family!
Happy Monday!

Cute! Like the orange + grey feel here, since the denim is a little closer to that than true blue.
-
Such a pretty printed blouse & I really love the color of these skinnies!

You look beautiful… So jealous of that braid. My hair is so thick that any braid looks like a huge rope hanging off my head 🙂
Also, that family reunion looked like a hoot!

Love that top! I alter pants all the time to make them skinny too! Cute look!

Sounds like fun! Love your top! I wish it was cool enough to wear jeans here in South Carolina. It's pretty hot and muggy, and I'm very pregnant so no jeans.

Oh man, I make it about 2 inches into a fishtail braid before I get totally bored and give up. Props to you – it looks great!

I love this look and it sounds like you had a perfect weekend! I can't wait for my hair to be long enough to do this type of braid.

what an incredibly gorgeous look! your braid is divine!

Loving your fishtail braid, and your light gray skinnies are super cute!

I love this weekend look! I've been living in this pair of sandals from Target this Summer and your breezy top is the perfect shade of pinky coral.

Gorgeous outfit! I love that top especially!

Ah so jealous, I love Park City. I'm from Provo and I still feel like I don't make it up there enough.
I really love those shoes by the way. I'm so hesitant to get some of them because my good friend has some just like it and I don't want to be THAT girl, you know? haha but you are making me consider getting them regardless, they look super super cute on you and with this outfit.

Gorgeous! aaagh, why have I never even attempted a fishtail braid? It looks fantastic and I am obsessed with those earrings. So glad Mr F was perfect on the flight! I would have expected nothing less from that angle baby.

I love that top! So comfy. And the fishtail is awesome…I wish I had long hair!

I love this outfit! The shirt is so stinkin' cute. What a fun idea, to spend the weekends out of the house. My husband is basketball player, so he's usually wiped after games. We have to get creative around here!
Love this look! Perfect fall outfit!

those pants are wonderful– are they leather?
Nope, they're just coated denim. They have some stretch to them, but they feel a little plastic-y. They're super comfy though!
Such a cute weekend look. I love your pants!
Conference was AWESOME! and so is this easy, weekend outfit!
