You guys have been asking for church outfit ideas, so today I’m rounding up a ton of ideas for you! Our church dress code is fairly dressy — men typically wear suits and ties, and women wear dresses or skirts.

Dresses are my church outfit of choice, so I’m sharing some dress outfit ideas, plus some shopping options if you need some new dresses in your closet. If you’re more of a fan of skirts, I have a post with 16 ways to wear a midi skirt!

1. Try a jumper dress with a lace top underneath

I love jumper dresses for spring, and you can dress them up with a lace top layered underneath! (My jumper dress is handmade — SEWING TUTORIAL HERE — but I linked a similar option below).

2. Add a jacket over your spring dress

I’ve been wearing spring dresses for a few weeks now, but since it’s not warm enough yet for spring dresses, I’ve been adding jackets over them. This faux fur jacket takes dresses up a notch, but any nice jacket or even coat would look great too.

3. Layer a sweater over your dress

I love layering sweaters over dresses. It’s another great way to wear a spring dress while it’s still cooler out. It also makes a dress look like two different pieces; a dress and a skirt! You get two very different outfits from one dress. Win-win!

4. Cinch your waist with a belt

Give yourself an instant hourglass shape by adding a belt to your dress. This black leather belt goes with everything and adds some interest to a simple dress and heels outfit.

5. Try a maxi dress with bold colored heels

If you’re feeling a little bold, throw on a printed maxi dress with some bold colorful heels like this blue suede pair!

6. Add a pop of leopard print to your white dress

A white dress is a staple in my closet all through spring and summer. Pair it with a fun leopard heeled sandal for an unexpected combination.

7. Try a scarf and some heeled boots with your dress

A little black dress is the most classic dress you can wear. It looks good on everyone and it’s so easy to wear for any season. For spring and summer, wear a shorter sleeve black dress and swap out the nude heels for heeled sandals.
