Stockings stuffers are always kind of an afterthought for me at Christmas time. I love to focus on the gifts, and it’s usually a few days before Christmas that I suddenly realize I don’t have anything for stockings.

But this year, a reader messaged me a really fun idea that makes it a lot easier and a little more fun.

She said her mom did the five senses for their stockings: something that smells yummy, something to eat, something they’ll listen to, something to see, and something to touch or play with.

A Brilliant Idea for Stocking Stuffers this Year

Stockings stuffers are always kind of an afterthought for me at Christmas time. I love to focus on the gifts, and it’s usually a few days before Christmas that I suddenly realize I don’t have anything for stockings.

But this year, a reader messaged me a really fun idea that makes it a lot easier and a little more fun.

She said her mom did the five senses for their stockings: something that smells yummy, something to eat, something they’ll listen to, something to see, and something to touch or play with.

I think that’s such a fun idea!

So I’ve rounded up a bunch of easy ideas for each sense, and then a few other fun and useful ideas to toss in the stockings this year.

Click directly on the collage below for details to each item!

A few more stocking stuffer ideas:

Smell (soap, body wash, perfume, yummy chapstick, lotion, etc)

Hear (music, DVD, audiobook, tickets to a play or musical)

Taste (dark chocolate, mixed nuts, gum, and an orange!)

See (book, magazine, nail polishsunglasses, my kid’s favorite night light)

Touch (gloves, holiday socks, athletic socks, pom pom hat, card holder, a small toy)

Love this idea! I find coming up with stocking stuffers so tough every year. Isn’t it enough that us moms have to figure out meaningful gifts? Haha, nope, we also have to fill a large sock for each of our kids as well. This really helps though!

And I loooove your blog. Seriously, every post is full of such awesome ideas and info! Thank you!

These are such good ideas. I always struggle to pick things out that are small enough and i like to go into stockings. I will have to try out this way.

One of the key aspects of 3D posture analysis is its non-invasive nature. Unlike traditional methods that may involve invasive procedures or uncomfortable physical measurements, 3D posture analysis relies on advanced technologies such as motion capture systems and computer vision algorithms. These tools enable healthcare professionals, researchers, and fitness experts to gather data without causing any discomfort to the individual being assessed.
