It’s getting cold in Texas and yet my boys still want to wear shorts because they’re more comfortable than their pants! So we found some really soft pants for boys and I wanted to share just in case you need some too!

1. SWEATPANTS JEANS

I’ve purchased these jeans for my boys before and they’re so fantastic that I purchased another pair for each of them. They look like jeans, but they’re super soft and cozy like sweatpants. They come in different fits, but I always get the “skinny” fit for my boys.

I got the size 11/12 for my 10 year old (they’re a bit big, but he’ll grow into them), the size 7/8 for my eight year old, and the size 5/6 for my (large for his age) 4 year old – they’re a bit long, but he’s tall and he’ll grow into them.

2. COMPRESSION LEGGINGS

My boys still want to wear shorts everyday, so I grabbed this two-pack of compression leggings for them so they could wear them underneath their shorts. They’re super lightweight, but really warm.

I got a medium for my 10 year old and an XS for my 8 year old.

3. DINOSAUR PRINTED JOGGER PANTS

I love these cute printed jogger sweats! They’re super soft and cozy, but the print on them makes them feel less casual than a pair of solid sweatpants.

I got a size 4T for my 4 year old.

4. GRAY UNDER ARMOUR TRAINING PANTS

These athletic joggers are a good alternative to sweatpants for older boys. They have a cozy sweatpant material inside, so they’re super soft and warm, but they also have wicking material on the outside so they’re not going to get soaked if they go out in the rain or snow.

I bought a size medium for my 10 year old and a size XS for my (slightly small for his age) 8 year old.

5. MAROON REEBOK JOGGERS

These cute joggers come in a ton of colors and they’re super comfortable and soft. I bought them in color “Striaded True Red.”

I bought a size 4 for my 4 year old.

6. TEAL UNDER ARMOUR PANTS

These are another pair of great athletic pants for boys, and I’m obsessed with this color! They also come in other colors, but this teal is fun and different, while still being super versatile with other colors in their closet.

I bought a size medium for my 10 year old and a size XS for my (slightly small for his age) 8 year old.

7. STAR JOGGER PANTS

These star joggers are the same as the dinosaur print joggers above. They’re cozy and cute and come in a few other cute prints.

I bought a size 4 for my 4 year old.

8. BLACK UNDER ARMOUR TRAINING PANTS

These are the same joggers as the gray pair, but I bought them in black too cause I felt like they would be super versatile.

I bought a size medium for my 10 year old and a size XS for my (slightly small for his age) 8 year old.

9. DENIM JOGGERS

I love abercrombie kid’s jeans, and these denim joggers are super soft and comfy. Plus, I love the jogger shape! So cute.
