As much as I’ve talked about it and thought about it, it’s still so surreal to me that I’m actually having this baby in two days. I don’t feel a bit nervous or anxious — it’s just not even real in my mind.
But even though it doesn’t feel real, I know it’s real…so I’m soaking up these last few days as a mom of one, and enjoying these last few days of feeling this baby on the inside, rather than out.
I’m also trying to soak up these perfect fall days, especially because we’ll be walking away from these gorgeous red, orange, and yellow trees in just a few short weeks. Change is hard, and scary sometimes, but knowing that we’ll be trading in our fall landscape for an amazing waterscape (we’ll be less than a mile from the beach!) is so exciting, and I’m starting to feel ready….almost…
Bring on the thirty degree weather and I’ll start feeling really ready 🙂
