Summer should be for playing and spending time as a family. Not clothes shopping for your kids. Our family tried out Stitch Fix Kids and it’s the most genius way to get all your shopping done for your kids without any work on your part.

We’re experiencing our very first Texas summer, and (like you guys all said), it’s HOT.

Philip and I both grew up in very hot places (Phoenix and Las Vegas, respectively), so honestly we’re feeling ok about it. But the boys have never lived somewhere so hot and although they don’t mind the heat, their closets were definitely unprepared.

I’ve been using Stitch Fix for the last few years and I’m obsessed with their styling services. They have incredible brands to choose from, and with your style profile and communication with your stylist, they always send me really fantastic pieces.

Now they have the same for kids. GENIUS.

The last thing I have time for right now, between kids out for the summer, starting a new business, and moving my entire family out of our rental house and into a hotel for a month while our house is being built, is to take them clothing shopping.

I can think of about ten million other things I’d rather do than take them all clothes shopping.

This is how Stitch Fix Kids works.

I filled out a Style Profile for each of my kids, which took about 5 minutes each, and that was it. You tell their stylist their sizes, their color likes and dislikes, what kinds of pieces you’re in need of (shorts and tees for us), and a few other details. And then a box shows up with all sorts of amazing things.

Anything you don’t like, you send back in the prepaid bag, and you only pay for what you keep.

Now we have a whole bunch of new, amazing clothing that my kids, and we can spend our time playing together, which is what summer should be all about!
