With the arrival of The Peanut, we’ve had lots of visitors in our home for the last two weeks. So yesterday was the first day that he and I were on our own — real life.

We spent our first day of real life at Thanksgiving Point’s Tulip Festival with Christine and Jack.

The Peanut wasn’t sure how he felt about it…

But after a little basking in the sun, he felt better.

It was the perfect day for being outside, and a great way to usher in my days as a full-time mom.
