We’ve had a cold front move in here in SoCal causing a bunch of overcast days and temperatures back in the mid fifties. So I’ve been turning to my trusty friend, the scarf, to keep my neck warm in my freezing house. They’re a perfect spring accessory, and I love how versatile they can be.
I usually gravitate toward infinity scarves, but longer, lightweight scarves (especially with a bit of fringe on the ends) are so wearable and remixable. This one from Kiki La’Rue (from last summer) is one of my favorites and will be getting a ton of use over the next few weeks until it starts warming up again.
These are three ways I’m loving to wear them right now, and three easy ways to get a little more use out of your scarves!
Any other fun ways you’re wearing your scarves?? I’d love to try them!

Your blog has become my favorite fashion blog and the Raiding My Sister's Closet posts are becoming my favorite posts. I love it any time you do a post on multiple ways to style a piece, but adding in the other two sisters with their different takes on similar items it always provides such varied ideas and inspiration. I always come away with fresh ideas for reworking my wardrobe. Thanks.

I THOUGHT you lived in California – but couldn't remember! Where exactly do you live? My husband and I moved to NorCal last month – from CANADA!!

This is so helpful–I have so many scarves and used to wear them all the time while teaching, but now that I usually am so casually dressed I find it hard to find the right way to wear them. Also, whenever I think of you in London I remember you buying that gold-like scarf and wearing it all the time, including as a shawl. (We were so young then, right? Makes me a little sad, how quickly life goes by.) Your scarf (and styling!) was so, so cute that I went and got some myself, including my "Merrick" scarf. I picture you every time I put it on!

  10. I always forget to belt my scarves, such a great idea!
