Sometimes when I’m a little bit of a closet slump and can’t figure out what to wear, I turn to my Pinterest “Dressing Myself” board, which is incredibly helpful in giving me outfit inspiration from items I’ve worn before or outfits I’ve found inspiring. Am I the only one who regularly relies on Pinterest just to get dressed in the morning?? Today I’m drawing inspiration from my Pinterest boards to create my own outfit, and my sisters are doing the same.
I ran across this photo on pinterest a few weeks ago and was instantly drawn to the boho chic vibe.  I don’t really own or wear anything super boho, but with my recent kimono obsession, it caught my attention. I just wrote a post on Babble about ways to wear your kimonos, but obviously I’m always on the lookout for more ways to wear my pieces. I love the simplicity of her outfit, but I took the boho vibe one step further and threw on my felt floppy hat. It just seemed right.

I so love your collection of booties! They are next on my list of shoes, although I just discovered that I already own 16 pairs of shoes (packing up an apartment really allows you to take stock of things)… that seems like a lot to me? But I still really want some booties haha
Excited to try your kimono tutorial soon! xx

Stunning! Would you say the fabric is substantial enough to make a maxi skirt or too thin?

For this round of Raiding My Sister’s Closet, we drew outfit inspiration from Pinterest. Pretty much every day when I’m getting dressed I browse through my Dressing Myself board, looking for inspiration and fresh ideas, so this day was no different. I chose this layered look since it was a fairly cool day, and I loved the idea of layering a lightweight blouse under a textured sweater, under a leather jacket. Plus, it was a good excuse to wear my new favorite cognac colored jacket
