A few days ago I ran across a pretty little lettered necklace on Pinterest.

With my sister and my sister in law’s birthdays quickly approaching (and considering some beautiful earrings in their birthstone weren’t quite in my birthday gift budget) I thought it would be a fun and pretty gift.
Megan’s tutorial was really simple and straight forward, and it was a fun little project that I worked on while we watched a movie one night.
I went through a bunch of fonts to copy before I decided on “Pinyon Script.” It had beautiful letters, but wasn’t too difficult to duplicate. The only deviation I made from Megan’s tutorial was that I bought a ready-made necklace chain, rather than buying the chain and clasp separately. Then I just used wire cutters to cut the chain, then used the jump rings to attach the two cut ends of the necklace to the wire name. Super easy, and I love how they turned out.

I have a ton of leftover wire, so I’m planning to make a few more — some for myself, and maybe some more as gifts!

I absolutely LOVE wire art, SO easy and looks really hard, so people are usually totally impressed with it 😉 I made my own personalized wedding hanger for myself and all of my bridesmaids, and have since been asked to make four more by other people who saw them and loved 'em… awesome. Yours turned out so cute!

The trend of personalized gifts is booming in the market. When we gift something which is dearer to its receiver,it makes a long lasting impression over him.
