Last week I shared a bunch of great closet staples from the Nordstrom sale, but lots of you asked what I actually purchased from the sale. Here’s my list!
Want to know what I actually bought from the Nordstrom sale? Today I’m sharing my purchases, and other things I already own and really love.
Here we go!
1. Zella long sleeve workout tee
2. Zella zip up workout jacket
Clearly I needed some warmer weather workout clothes! I bought a last year’s version of this running jacket during the Nordstrom sale last year and wore it every day for those cold fall, winter, and spring runs. This year’s version is a little lighter weight than last year, but the material and cut is impeccable. I’ll try this on tomorrow!
3. Leopard peplum top
This is a really fun top for date night or girls night or work. The peplum style is uber flattering, and I’m a sucker for leopard print. I’ll try this on tomorrow and show you.
4. Suede jacket
I bought this jacket a few years ago and have worn it hundreds of times since. The suede is super luxurious, and the fit and structure of the jacket are just beyond. It makes any outfit feel chic and expensive. The one I own is a slightly lighter color than the caramel macchiato, but that color is classic and neutral. I wear an XS. (Here’s a post I did about 10 ways to wear this jacket)
5. Paige straight leg jeans
Whoa, these jeans are good! I love the fit and the wash and the distressing. They’re a little pricier, but they’re so soft and comfortable and I can start wearing them TODAY. I got my normal size and the waist is just a tiny bit too big so I might exchange for one size down. I’ll try these on for you tomorrow on stories!
6. Madewell gray jeans
These gray, straight leg jeans haven’t arrived yet so I don’t know about fit, but the second I saw the picture on the website I fell in love. I’m crossing my fingers they fit!
7. Zella Live In Leggings
I bought these leggings three or four years ago in the Nordstrom Sale and they’re still in impeccable condition. I’ve since bought them in other colors and they’re just the best thick, amazing leggings ever. Super stretchy, they hold everything in, they don’t sag or stretch out at all, and the quality is fantastic. They’re also not at all sheer (even with the most aggressive squats or bends) and are a brushed material so they’re great for everyday and for exercising during the colder months.
8. Good American Jeans
I bought my first pair of Good American jeans last year during the sale and they were far and away my favorite jeans all fall and winter. I love the lighter wash and distressing on these, and the fit is impeccable. It’s especially great for curvy ladies! I wear a size 0 in their jeans and I’m normally a size 26.
9. Moonlight Pajamas
I think every woman should have a great pair of pajamas. These are my favorites – I buy a new pair every year during the sale! They’re super lightweight and buttery soft, even after tons and tons of washes and wears. I wear a size small and would recommend sizing UP if you’re in between sizes.
10. Black Chelsea boots
I bought these black Chelsea boots back in January, I think, and I’m thrilled they’re included in the sale! They’re incredible quality, super versatile (I have a post with 4 ways to wear them here), and so comfortable. I also love that they’re waterproof — a great boot for winter that looks chic!
11. Glitter P448 sneakers
The last thing I need is another pair of sneakers, I KNOW. But I’ve been wondering about P448 sneakers compared to Golden Goose, so I had to take advantage of the sale and check them out. I’ll try them on tomorrow and let you know how I like them compared to my GGs. I really love this fun glitter design though, and it’s different than anything I have in my closet right now!
12. White Ecco Sneakers
My white Ecco sneakers that I rave about all the time aren’t part of the sale, but these sneakers are also Ecco Soft 7 so I assume they’re super similar in comfort and shape. They look about the same! I actually love the little stripe of black on the heel. If you’re looking for a great pair of comfortable modern sneakers, Ecco Soft 7 sneakers are the way to go. They’re like walking on clouds!
13. Beauty Bio Microneedling Kit
If you have scarring or fine lines on your face, I cannot recommend this tool enough. It helps rejuvenate your skin, smooth scarring and lines, and encourage your face to produce new collagen. I’ve been using mine for a few years and absolutely love it. It rarely goes on sale, so take advantage!
14. St. Tropez tanning mousse
If you’ve been around a while, you know I adore this tanning mousse. I’ve been using it for years and it’s such a great natural color and goes on streak free. This is a huge bottle of it, and will last you for ages. I have a post here about how I apply it. Also I currently use THIS $6 mitt to apply.
15. Olaplex Bond Maintenance Kit
This hair kit keeps selling out and coming back, so if it’s sold out when you click, I hope it’ll come back soon! I mostly purchased this for the Hair Perfector formula. The water here in our area really dries out hair and I already have dry hair, so I’m always combating breakage and brittleness. I’m interested to give this a go, especially after hearing amazing things about it for years!
16. Neulash Eyelash Growth Serum
I’ve been using this eyelash serum for years and it’s truly amazing. It’s expensive, but honestly lasts me for YEARS. I still have the same one I bought two years ago at the sale! One little swipe is all you need every morning and night, and once you reach the length you want, just give it a swipe once or twice a week (I’m in the maintenance phase, so that’s why it lasts me so long). If you want crazy long and strong lashes, definitely check this out.
I’ve got a post all about my lashes and mascara here.
17. T3 Curling Iron
I’ve been using this curling iron for the last year or two and I’m a huge fan. It’s got great heat controls, it separates into two pieces so it’s easy to swap out the barrel for a different size OR travel with it in a small bag, and it’s curls very quickly. It’s pricey, and there are plenty of other great curling irons out there that are cheaper, but I really do love this one and if you’ve been eyeing it, now is a great time to grab it.
I’ll be doing a big try on in stories today for Get Dressed With Merrick, so watch for that on my Instagram today!
