I typically cycle through a few pairs of go-to shoes for every season. Now that the weather is warming up, here are a few current favorite shoes for spring.
This roundup has a mix of both classic and trendy shoes. I’ve had some of them for years, and others I picked up this year!
Some Favorite Shoes for Spring
1. Sorel Waterproof Sandals. I got these about a month ago and they instantly became a favorite! They’re so comfortable, the back strap makes them so easy to walk in and keep on, but the velcro makes them easy to get on and off. I wore them to the amusement park for spring break and they were perfectly comfortable all day long with miles of walking! These will be a go-to all through the summer.
2. Suede Madewell Mary Jane Flats (more sizes HERE). I love the ballet flat trend, and I unexpectedly fell in love with this pair. They’re so comfy, a great neutral color, and super easy to wear with jeans or skirts or dresses or trousers.
3. Adidas Spezial Sneakers (similar lower price option HERE). I’ve been wearing these sneakers on repeat for the last few weeks and they are so comfy and so cute. Colorful sneakers are super trendy, and these are my favorite pair that I’ve purchased. A pop of red goes with everything and I find myself reaching for these with tons of outfits! They’re very comfortable and have a little arch support in the sole.
4. Target Classic Loafers. I love a pair of loafers, and this affordable pair is so chic, SO comfortable, and makes any outfit feel a little more elevated. I have a few outfit ideas with them RIGHT HERE.
5. GOLA Silver Sneakers. I was honestly not sure about the silver sneaker trend, but I thought I’d try a pair and I’ve ended up loving them! They’re a neutral while still being special, and they’re much more versatile than I expected. I find myself wearing them regularly!
6. Boden Block Heel Sandals. I just got these and since they’re dressy, I haven’t worn them a ton yet, but they’re a perfect spring heel that work for a wedding, graduation, work, or church. They’re super chic and the leather and raffia details make them special and interesting. The heel is low so they’re very comfortable to walk in too.

Great advice on shoes — they really are the unsung hero of graduation day style! Since your gown will cover most of your outfit, the shoes are your chance to add personality and polish. Think beyond just style though — comfort and function matter too, especially if you’re taking photos on grass or walking long distances. A block heel or wedge gives you that lift without the risk of sinking or stumbling. And yes, a little heel does wonders for posture, which totally matters when all eyes are on you.
