sweater: old navy (husband’s), jeans: old navy maternity, boots: macy’s (shop), necklace: c/o dainty deals

I suddenly reached the point in this pregnancy when I have nearly nothing to wear. Pretty much all my shirts are too small, too short, or too summery (a.k.a. not warm enough for these freezing mornings and evenings we suddenly have — which I’m definitely not complaining about).

So what do I do?? Invade Philip’s side of the closet, that’s what.

I’ve been eyeing this sweater of his for a month or so now, but til now it’s been much too hot to put it on. Plus, when I did try it on one time, it was still a bit too big. Now, with a 37 week belly, it’s the perfect mix of slouchy and comfy, but not too enormous. Pretty sure I’ll be stealing from that side of the closet a lot over these last two and a half weeks…

. . . . . . . .
The necklace I’m wearing is from Dainty Deals. They have the most darling Anthropologie inspired necklaces — I’ve had to stop myself from wearing mine nearly every day since it arrived (seriously). The  mint is my personal favorite, but they have several other darling colors, and the best part is how inexpensive they are! Go check them out!

  1. I love that you stole his sweater! It looks great though! 😉 I can't believe the baby will be here in 2.5 weeks! I feel like it was yesterday you announced #2. 😉

Dang gurl, your husband has TASTE! hehe I can't wait to "borrow" my hubby's clothes when I'm pregnant; is that weird? haha. I already have my eye on a couple things… hoping he gets tired of 'em before we start trying, so I can refashion 'em. haha

Isn't it great when a piece of clothing can be so versatile!

You look great!! I stole Michael's stuff at the end of my pregnancy and was totally mortified when I had to use a safety pin to keep one of his button-ups from popping open. It makes buying 'for your husband' so much more fun!

I can't believe that's your husband's sweater, it's so cute! From the front you almost can't tell you're pregnant.

What? you're already 37 weeks? You look amazing! And your husband's sweater fits perfectly 🙂 it's pointless to buy new clothes at this stage, so that's such a great idea to raid his closet. 🙂

I have the benefit of a skinny boyfriend so I'll often grab one of his smaller sweaters to wear over leggings and boots – I feel like mens sweaters are always so much more comfortable than women's! This is a totally adorable look 🙂

  18. I thought about getting some of those cute jeans, but then I remembered that I don't have your legs. Bummer. But I think I can still use the idea in my own style. I did want to ask, though – where did you get some of your belts? I'm assuming they are some of the same ones you use when your NOT pregnant?

  19. Hohmann Family:

I get most of my belts from thrift stores or at little local boutiques where I can get them for $4 or $5.
