This outfit and I had a fight today. I really wanted to belt the top part so the outfit wasn’t so loose and relaxed, but no matter how many belts I tried, it just didn’t work. This outfit just wanted to be relaxed. And as soon as I gave up on the belt idea and threw on my hat, it just worked and I loved it.
I think it was a sign to me to just reeeeeelaaaaax. My brain has just felt fuzzy lately, and although I feel happy and life is so good, I just feel….fuzzy. There’s no other way I can explain it. I sit down to work at my computer and I just freeze. I try to work on a sewing project and I draw blanks. I don’t know if it’s cause I’m tired, or stressed, or what, but dude. It’s time to relax and get past this…cause my to-do list is getting super long, my refashion pile is out of control, and I’m ready to start feeling like a normal non-fuzzy human again.
In the mean time, have another outfit posts. Cause that’s about all my brain can handle right now.
What a cute outfit!! I love it! and thanks for that great reminder. I need to learn to just reeelllaaax sometimes too. 🙂
Very cute! Love the feel.
I think this outfit is very relaxed and boho chic — love it on you! xo

I felt a little fuzzy like that after returning to work from maternity leave. Turns out, it was a medication I had started that was making me feel like a space cadet. I stopped taking it and felt better in just a few days. Maybe think about anything you have changed recently that could be making you feel that way?
This is beautiful! Hope you get time to relax and gain some clarity soon 🙂
That sweater is beautiful on you. I love the ombre stripes! I find it takes a while for the brain to go back to normal after having babies.
Where did you get that fabric for the skirt? It's gorgeous!

Fuzzy is the perfect word to describe that feeling! You have mad sewing skills!
seriously, the thing i love about your outfits is that they're wearable! anybody could put together an outfit like you do and pull it off. and you're beautiful, too. goodness! and i love your hair.
i really just love your blog i guess.
Your outfit makes me miss warm weather so much! The color of the skirt and the hat are so great! I wish it would warm up. And I never mind outfit posts, especially when they get me so excited for nice weather! Have a great weekend!
You look adorable!
As far as the fuzzy goes, don't underestimate the effect of postpartum hormones. Sometimes people thing of postpartum as crazy depression or dreaming of leaving your baby behind but the effects can be much more subtle. I felt fuzzy antsy and frustrated that I couldn't accomplish more in a day. I didn't really normalize until at least 6 months. Good luck!
TGIF 🙂 You do look lovely in this. Looks like a carefree girl out on a stroll!
you look so boho chic! I LOVE the outfit! 🙂
A belt could have cute, but I think it looks great the way it is! The colors and the overall combo is prett fantastic is you ask me
I loooove this outfit! I have that sweater and your outfit gave me some inspiration for wearing it while praying for spring to hurry up!
Ahh yes it's so nice to be relaxed sometimes! I think you look great in this outfit!!

I think everyone gets tired after a while and needs a change. Hopefully you're able to just rest and recharge!

yep. my obgyn said fuzzy brain after a baby is a real thing. can't remember the "real" name for it but whatever it is, I've got it. again. boo.
I felt exactly the same way a few months after Cash was born. Seriously, just reeeelax. It's easier said than done, but just know that what you are doing is enough, and don't feel like you have to push yourself further than you can handle. You are already a supermomma! (and you look GORGEOUS btw. So loving your hair length and color right now)
