I’m sort of in this weird brain phase right now. For some reason I think it’s spring. When I plan my outfit before I go to bed, I find myself picking short sleeved shirts, skirts, and peep-toe heels. Then in the morning I look out the window to a snow-covered parking lot.
Speaking of skirts, has anyone noticed that no one sells knee-length skirts anymore? Everything’s turned mini! Where do you buy your knee-length skirts? I’m feeling the need to add some new springy things to my closet…
Speaking of new, I’ve decided on an art school. I (hopefully) start March 9th. I’m beyond excited.
And speaking of March, we are only three weeks away from our cruise!
Life is quite good today.
CRUISE!! LUCKY! We’re going in May. I can’t wait either!
Maybe you’ve got Cruise Fever which is causing you to seek warm-weather clothes! I think 7 days in the Pacific will be a wonderful cure.
Need new spring skirts? Take a trip to the fabric store. (Make sure patterns and fabric are on sale, first!) Get out your sewing machine and sew, sew, sew. 🙂 If you don’t know how to sew or have a machine, what about “sweet talking” someone who loves you into doing this for you? (People, please don’t shoot me for making the suggestion. 😀 )
Packrat beat me to it – I know a certain Nina person who loves to sew clothes! BTW, where is this art school?
Hey, congratulations on picking an art school! How awesome! And I like the new look of your blog! And I wish we were going on that cruise with y’all.
Since Bart commented on your new blog look, I wanted to mention (for the masses) that D and I saw the original of this beautiful painting in Vienna last summer. It was on display in a lovely, mid-size palace right downtown that is now an art museum. Klimt’s famous Judith painting was also there. We had a fascinating tour guide who brought wonderful background information to our visit. You girls may remember that the MGM Grand Hotel uses his paintings in their hotel rooms. I never imagined that I would see the originals. Never even had a clue where those originals would be.
And, yes, I’d love to do a bit of pre-cruise sewing:) And that goes for you other two lovely ladies also who aren’t going on cruises. Rene, you’re on your own for pre-cruise sewing since you sew better than I do anyway!
Hey, I started at the Bridge this week!! Keep me posted on what you do!
Give Down East Outfitters a try for some great knee length skirts!
Love the new daily outfit show! You’re giving me lots of good ideas. Now all I need is your mom, Janssen, and Landen to buy me things and/or for me to steal things from!
