I can’t get enough of the little white dress trend this spring. I’m finding every excuse to wear them, and love how summery and fresh they feel. Plus, they’re so versatile! I like to dress mine up with a pair of statement heels and a clutch, or dress down with a simple pair of flat sandals and a crossbody bag.

If you don’t have a little white dress in your closet already, now is the time to pick one up, because you’ll find about fifty excuses to wear it this summer. I’ve rounded up a few of my favorites in different styles and shapes, but no matter what the style, they all are so appropriate for summer BBQ’s, date nights, or parties. Have I convinced you that you need one yet??

This white dress looks stunning on you! I have a white sheath dress that I wear to work but I am a dirt magnet so I don’t wear it as much as I would like to.

Hope to see you Thursday for TBT Fashion link up.

Did you hem that dress? All the reviews say it goes mid-calf on short girls. And how low is the back? I love it!

I’ve needed a nice white dress for a long time. But I’m paler than white so I’m not sure if that would go over very well 😉

  17. Ashley says:

Is there any sewing magic you can do to fix the back?

    • Merrick says:

probably, but I haven’t had a chance to try! I think it would be a pretty labor intensive fix though, because the zipper starts so low. So you’d either have to take out the zipper, add more fabric to make the back no longer a V, and then add a new zipper. or just add fabric and add a button at the top so instead of the V back, it just has a skinny slit down to the zipper, and a button up at the top of the neck. Does that make sense?
