How to Wear Jumpsuits: Casual and Dressy

Jumpsuits are a fun alternative to a dress or pants outfit. These two outfits are very different – one dressed up for work or an event, and the other dressed down for the beach or a summer day. Which one is your favorite?

I’m kind of on a jumpsuit kick right now, so I wanted to show you two different jumpsuit outfits today.

Jumpsuits are one of those pieces that are really fun to wear (admittedly, not so much when you have to go to the bathroom), and make a statement while still being pretty effortless.

Let me show you a dressed up jumpsuit and a dressed down jumpsuit and you tell me which one is your favorite!

This casual jumpsuit is buttery soft and perfect for spring and summer.

This ORANGE OVERALL JUMPSUIT was a total spur of the moment purchase for me, and I don’t regret it for one second. It’s one of those pieces that you want to wear every single day.

It’s crazy soft and comfortable, has the most beautiful drape, and I love this orange color for year round!

Try these ideas for styling this cute jumpsuit!

I paired it with SANDALS and a WHITE TEE for an easy summer/beach/park/travel outfit, but here are a few other ideas for wearing it:

• toss a DENIM JACKET over it and wear some WEDGED SANDALS. Perfect for spring!
• try a PULLOVER SWEATER over the top and wear it just as wide leg pants. I’m so doing this.
• wear a LONG SLEEVE SOLID COLOR TEE underneath and a pair of sneakers or ankle boots.

When i doubt, try a black jumpsuit. It’s chic, unexpected, makes a bit of a statement, but isn’t too bold.

The small print on THIS BLACK JUMPSUIT makes it slightly more casual, so you could definitely dress it down. And I found an almost identical one for $30!!

I dressed this one up for more of a work or dressy event with a BLACK LEATHER JACKET and some BLACK PUMPS.

I also think this jumpsuit would look incredible with this BROWN SUEDE JACKET. I love a black and brown color combination.
