I don’t do capsule a wardrobe full time, but creating one for the season is fun! With 13 pieces, I made tons of outfits for my fall capsule wardrobe. Here are 13 different ones.

This year I’ve created a capsule wardrobe for every season. Here’s my fall capsule wardrobe.

I’m not the kind of person who wants a capsule wardrobe full time, but it’s fun to pick up a group of pieces from my closet and put together some different outfits with them.

If anything, it’s an exercise in closet creativity for me, and I actually really enjoy it.

And even if you don’t do a capsule wardrobe, I hope this helps you build your fall wardrobe and come up with some new outfit ideas!

In case you don’t know, what is a capsule wardrobe?

A capsule wardrobe is “a collection of clothing that is composed of interchangeable items only, to maximize the number of outfits that can be created. The aim is to have an outfit suitable for any occasion without owning excessive items of clothing.” (source).

Grabbed that from Wikipedia cause they said it better than I ever could.

Basically it’s a handful of clothing items you can mix and match to make a ton of outfits. And that’s what I’m showing you today.

How do you choose your capsule clothing?

There are two important factors when choosing your capsule clothing.

  • The pieces should to be versatile and neutral so they can be worn over and over without it being obvious.
  • Each item in the capsule wardrobe list should coordinate. They don’t all have to coordinate, but most of them should. This is the best way to maximize the number of outfits you can create.

What clothing items are in your capsule wardrobe list?

Typically, capsule wardrobes are bigger than thirteen items. If you’re needing an entire season or year’s worth of outfits, you probably need 30-40 pieces.

But for this small seasonal capsule, I chose 13 pieces.

Here’s what I put in my fall capsule wardrobe:

Great looks, thanks for sharing! In fact I also like to make different combinations creating multiple images. In fact, in your wardrobe does not have to be a lot of things, as long as they fit together, then you can create a large number of looks. I use clothes often with https://magiclinen.com/linen-clothing combined with other things, it’s refreshing
