When I think holiday wear, the first thing that comes to my mind is glitter. As long as it comes in small doses, glitter is your friend. Today I’ve cooked up a fun and easy DIY for you to wear for your holiday parties, new years eve parties, and then well into 2014. These glitter on these heels is pretty subtle, but adds a special something to a simple pair of nude heels.
Also, a tulle skirt has been on my to-sew list for ages — I even bought the materials several months ago so I would finally make it, but still I didn’t get to it. But when I finished these glitter heels, I knew I had to pair them with a big poofy tulle skirt, so I whipped one up this week (using Liz’s tutorial!). It’s the perfect festive feminine outfit.
These heels are a great gift for your girlfriends, your sisters, or yourself!

This is such a great way to update worn looking heels. I glittered a pair of boots last year and they still look great.
If I wanted gold glitter would i have to put the mod podge on top?
Those are SO cute.
That skirt is so cute!

OH MY WORD MERRICK! Yes on the shoes! Yes on the tutu! Yes on the striped top! You totally pass my inspection.
LOVE this entire outfit!!!! Your blog is awesome and one of my daily reads. I'm not very good at sewing, and wanted to ask if you considered selling this skirt? If so please email me! inga0927@gmail.com
