If you’re having a classroom party or some friends or family over, these are games that the whole family will love.
Minute to Win It games are a blast for the whole family
We’ve played these games at family reunions, and friends parties, with teenagers, kids, grandparents, and more. We took some of our favorite Minute to Win It games and, with a little twist, turned them into Halloween games!
Here are five simple Halloween Minute to Win It Games you can play this year
Halloween Game #1: PUMPKIN TOSS
- Supplies needed
- Game Prep
- Put Mallowcreme pumpkins into small bowls
- Divide the players into pairs
- Rules for Playing
- One of the partners sits or kneels on the ground, facing away from his or her partner, holding the cauldron in two hands. The other person then tosses a mallowcreme pumpkin forward, over the head of their partner, who then tries to catch the pumpkin in the cauldron.The team that catches the most pumpkins in their cauldron in one minute wins!
Halloween Game #2: OREO FACE
- Supplies Needed
- Rules for playing
- Players go two at a time. Each player places an oreo on his/her forehead, and has one minute to get the Oreo to their mouth without using their hands. Wiggle your nose, stretch your mouth, shake your head, whatever it takes to get that Oreo into your mouth! If your Oreo falls, place it back on your forehead and start over.
Halloween Game #3: HALLOWEEN BOWLING
- Supplies needed
- 5-10 water or soda bottles (filled, not empty)
- Black construction paper
- Tape
- 1 medium/small pumpkin (pumpkin pie size)
- Game Prep
- Cut black circles from construction paper.
- Tape three circles to the bottles to make them look like ghosts.
- Arrange the bottles like bowling pins, in rows.
- Playing rules
- Players stand a small distance away from the ghost bowling pins and roll the pumpkin on the ground as if they are bowling, attempting to knock down the rows of bottles. Continue to roll until all the bottles are all tipped over. Set them all back up, and continue to play. The team that knocks down the most bottles in one minute is the winner!
Halloween Game #4: SUCK IT UP
- Supplies needed
- Halloween colored M&Ms
- Plastic or paper straw
- Plates
- Playing rules
- Each player gets two plates, one with a pile of 25 M&Ms, the other empty. Players place a straw in their mouth and use suction to transfer all 25 M&M’s from one plate to another in under one minute. Only one hand may be used to hold the straw. Everyone gets to eat their candy when the round is finished!
Halloween Game #5: MUMMY WRAP
- Supplies needed
- rolls of white crepe paper or rolls of toilet paper
- Playing rules
- Split players up into groups of 2-3. There should be one person left out to be the judge.
- Give each team one roll of paper
- Players have one minute to wrap a chosen person to look like a mummy.
- The judge chooses the best mummy, and that team is the winning team!
These are all so fun and simple, with almost no prep. Instead of sitting home and sulking about no trick or treating this year, play some of these Halloween games and have a fun Halloween night!
