Winter Wedding Outfit
This new velvet somerset dress is the perfect dress to wear to a winter wedding, especially if you’ll be inside most of the time and don’t want to be TOO HOT. It’s short sleeve, so you can do a jacket over the top of it super well.
You could do a peacoat or other long dressy coat, but I paired it with a short black fur coat for a glam look. The fur and the velvet and my hair in an up-do are just perfection for me.

Formal/Cocktail Work Party
If you have a dressy work party this season, you could of course wear a dress, but a pair of velvet pants is a fun alternative that’s dressy and also super modern and chic.
I paired with a classic white button down shirt for a classy and elevated feel, but you could also do a sweater or a bodysuit or a dressy blouse!

Holiday Gala Outfit
Heading to a holiday gala this season? These call for a super fancy look, but sometimes those kinds of outfits can be pretty uncomfortable. Formal New Years Outfit
If you’re dressing up for New Year’s or New Year’s Eve, sequins are the best choice! I love a monochromatic look for the holidays, and this sequin skirt and cream sweater are perfect.
I chose a pair of tan ankle boots for a slightly less dressy look, but if you’re going for super fancy, choose a pair of stilettos or block heels to complete your outfit.
