Lately, Philip and I have been getting better at regular date nights. Now that we have two babies, we’re both working (even if mine is from home), have decently demanding church responsibilities, and much more, I’m realizing how important it is to have regular alone time with my guy…more than just watching a movie together on Saturday nights (as much as we love that). This weekend we dressed up and went to the Newport Beach temple. With a twenty minute drive there and back, we got a chance to just sit and talk, and just be silent together (and with two kids, that is precious). And just that one evening was enough to totally rejuvenated me for the new week. Maybe the dipped cone from McDonalds that we grabbed on the way home had something to do with it too…
Time to kick Monday in the buns.

Ooh…I love this dress! And I know what you mean about dates. When my husband and I were young we thought dinner and movies were a great date. Now walking together and talking is the best date we could get!
What a beautiful dress! I love it.
Loving your dress! And your hair is beautiful. Sounds like you had a fun date night. 🙂
That dress is awesome! I think I might pick it up to see if it's formal enough to wear to a wedding. (It looks like it from the photos.)
Yes — I definitely think it's formal enough for a wedding!
That dress! I loved it the moment I set my eyes on it. And you look beautiful on it!
May I ask you what size you are wearing? I was thinking about getting it for my college graduation but I'm not sure which size to pick.
Thanks!!
Size small!
Thanks so much!! 🙂
Ahh, I can completely relate to enjoying time alone to talk (without being interrupted)…that is precious! Lovely dress on you 🙂

Yes!! Gorgeous, inside and out!
Blahhhh your hair just kills me. Why does it look so dang good everyday? I'm glad you've been getting more regular date nights!
Oh, Audrey…you are so, so nice. And it doesn't look so good every day…I just try to take pictures on the days it looks better 😉
Oh my word, that dress is just so adorable! I love all the colors – so perfect for a date night!

Oh my goodness, this dress is AMAZING. It's cute and trendy in a good way but it's also totally unique and definitely stands out. To be honest I haven't seen an outfit on a fashion blog that seems unique and not a copycat of everyone else's outfits in a LONG time and this one is definitely just that.
Speaking of copying other bloggers, I totally just ordered this dress. hahaha I'm sorry, I hope that doesn't bug you. I just absolutely love it so much. You of course will get all the credit when people ask where I got it.
What a gorgeous dress!
WAHHHH! Dress is sold out. 🙁
Oh, bummer! So sorry!
That dress is absolutely beautiful! You look fantastic.
I love your website! I follow your sisters also. Refreshing to see modest style out there 🙂
