Remember how I’m doing a year of dates with Philip? Well, Saturday night was our February date.
Since we’ve been married, we’ve talked about attending a BYU basketball game together, but for some reason we’ve never done it. So it was top on my list of things to do during our year of dates.
We dropped off Peanut at Kayla’s house (thank you!), and headed off for an evening of cheering on our Cougs.

Our seats were the second to top row, but amazingly we had a great view and our noses didn’t even bleed (whew).

We finished off the evening with dinner at a new BBQ place in town, and watching Harry Potter #3 (we’re making our way through all 8 since I got them for Christmas!).
Next month we’re going ice skating — I figure skated for about 7 years back in the day, and amazingly Philip and I have never been skating together…can’t wait!
Sure, nothing can beat court-side seats (or field-side, in my case, as I prefer baseball to basketball), but there's something about the nosebleed section that just makes for a good experience. Looks like you guys had fun!
Sounds like a really fun date! The hubs and I have a date night at least once a week but we often go to the same places. I like the idea of going somewhere different for the date!

It's called Big Al's BBQ. It's just north of Provo Towne Center mall.
There's another awesome BBQ place called Munchies over on Freedom and 100 S in Provo.

At work, we have one colleague who never spoke about his personal life and we were very curious why he did not. But one day after a corporate party, we moved to the nearest bar and continued to have fun there. We noticed that all the time while we were at the bar he corresponded with someone and then called on the phone. It turned out that he regularly searches for local hookups and successfully does this every weekend.
