Just recently I found out about a new website called The Shelf. It’s kind of like Pinterest for online shopping. Instead of “pinning” your items, you create shelves and then “shelve” clothing items that you’re thinking about purchasing (of course, you can also shelve other items, such as clothes you already own or are blogging about).

The coolest part is that it keeps track of the price and alerts you when a shelved item goes on sale (or you can set a “price alert” so you are notified when the price drops to the price you want to pay) and provides discount codes when they’re available.

So in celebration of the launch of The Shelf, I’m teaming up with a bunch of fabulous bloggers to give away $1,000 to J.Crew!

And, as you can see below, when you click on each shelved item, it provides additional information about the product, tracks the price for you, provides a promo code, and alerts you when your favorite items go on sale.
